      Liverpool F.C. vs A.S.Roma
      0 : 1

Well boys and girls, it's here!

First game of the latest US Tour and we start off at Fenway Park, (will John turn up, or will be be on his Yacht?)

No idea what the team may be but I suspect there may be a large amount of substitutions.

Will be interesting to see who plays, Pepe? Fabio? Has Emre recovered? To be honest, I don't have a freekin' clue.

On request, can we keep all the match posts in here, and not start a Game thread as it is only a friendly. Cheers.

I think we owe them a good bashing for our defeat the last time we played them and for selling us Aquilani. Hopefully Emre has recovered and he can at least get 30 minutes under his belt in this game.

I'm won't create the match thread because it will be very early for me. Hope, we will win this game to give us some momentum.

We were taking pity on them, more like they owed us for 84, 2001 and 2002!!

And any reds out there wanting to wind up the Roma fans, don't forget a little chant of "Lazio, Lazio" to here we go, here we go. Enjoy yourselves and hope you can get over the sore throats tomorrow.

Would love to see Pepe get a start or at least some time on the field, would maybe show that we are looking to keep him around. Can't wait to see Markovich and Lallana and hopefully Can is fit enough to go.

Definitely staying up to watch this one.

Hope Can gets a few minutes, was mightily impressed with what I saw of him if only for 20minutes.

Some of Ibe and Sterling in the same team would be interesting too. Of course it's only for fitness but I still think it will be a good game and it's just nice to be tuning to see the Reds again.

Confused about getting info for this game, why isn't it advertised better?

I'll be giving it a look, for the first half at least. Hopefully we'll see Lellana and Markovic, and hopefully if Can does play it's in his rightful position which is almost certainly as a holding midfielder if the other day was anything to go by.

Ok thank god then, because we've just went over to get some ale for it.
The only way I could verify the time without a confusing google search was because Lfctv has match day live at 11.30 then a an intermission at 12am.
Even that is unreliable sometimes coz they don't update their sky schedule in a very professional way... sloppy

Are they showing the game on LFCtv on Sky?

      They don't normally do that.
