No one in midfield did. Pretty poor form to have a go at him, his play was ok, not good not bad. Much like most of our squad to be honest. Might as well have a jab at them too eh?

ffs. This is a friendly and if you think he is 'so poor' then I suggest re watching a few games from around Christmas time, especially the Spurs game away. Pisses me off that some people just expect rugged tackles or Hollywood balls and goals from their players. Typical English mentality.

I just expect him to try to create something and help the attack, Can and Coutiho are trying, but Allen seems to bring nothing to the team. I hope he proves me wrong, but I don't think he'll make it here. And I'm not English.

Can the best of the bunch from the first half.  He will be a regular starter in our midfield if he can settle in quickly.

Two sides struggling to find their form in pre-season. Bit boring so far to be honest with little real quality play up to now. Lambert has worked hard for little reward. Borini getting injured was perhaps the main incident of a pretty dull first half.

 

Hope both sides will be more "relaxed" and show something better in second half
