Totally. I don't ever want to see supporters subjected to the sort of guff they got throughout the whole of the Liverpool v Roma match especially when they were on 'tour'. Imagine buying a Rolling Stones ticket and the whole gig consisted of the Mick Jagger and co just farting into their microphones? That's what Wednesday night was like. If you're going to advertise it as a tour there's got to be some competitive and serious element to it.

really keen to see some new signings play tonight and hopefully a few goals and a win. will be good to see sakho and mignolet back, stevie might get some minutes, and we're in this mini-tournament so we're playing an ever so slightly higher standard of friendly now. a few games under our belt, better players coming in, time for the youngsters who have earned a spot in this tournament to gel with some first teamers and see what it's really about! would love to see ibe continue to impress and hopefully peterson will get more minutes, robinson to continue to show improvement.

super keen to see markovic too, but perhaps most interesting will be the middle and how can features. will lucas look better still? i thought he was quite sharp against roma. i feel like can could play a henderson kind of roll but with bombing forward more in his natural game, he reminded me of glen going forward with that height and power and pace.

Be interesting to see who plays, should know soon. Hope a few of the seniors get a run out. Id like to think so, weve got a lot of work to do and not that much time.
