I think now the big test for Dejan will be how he recovers from a mistake or an error. I remember he would go into meltdown before so let's hope he's over that.

To be fair if Lovren continues to play as he is, Skrtel's got no chance until an injury happens.

Skrtel should be sold in the summer and should not come back into the team unless Sakho or Lovren are injured. If we do end up signing Matip, then having a group of Sakho, Lovren, Gomez, and Matip to choose from would be sound.

He may prefer Left sided centre back but he just looks better and more natural at the right. It's probably something mentally like he can clear it better if it's down the middle of the 2 CBs while he's on the left, where in reality his overall game is better when on the right!

I've given him a fair amount of stick and then he finally started to play into form.

I agree with the poster above about him looking better on the right side of defence, as opposed to his preferred side. Along with Sahko, the pair were building a decent looking partnership, shame for the injury as it couldn't have come at a worse time.

Very important member of our squad for the next 4-5 crucial weeks. Him an Caulker at corners and set-pices should be interesting, Mignolet likes this.

Apart from the one occasion when Aguero turned him inside out, which to be fair he does to most defenders a Rock solid performance tonight from Dejan.

f***in hell hes good  and back from injury but still a top dog. pls stay healthy dejan. You Matip and Lucas is the making of top PL central defense.

He's been our most consistent defender since Klopp has come in. Looks good every time he plays.
