Exactly what BR wanted, mate! Looked great today in all respects, if he turns in performances like that on a consistent basis this season then we're already looking better in defence! (And in attack for that matter with headers like that! )

Very, very impressive debut. Dominant, vocal, ready and able to lead that back line to where they should be standing.

Well impressed with every aspect of his game, passing was crisp and accurate, even has some nice range picking out Manquillo a couple of times and the slide rule through to Coutinho, very nice. His aerial dominance is the biggest bonus, he has one outstanding leap on him, towered above others at times.

Skrtel needs to listen to him though, a few of his calls went unheard but they've hardly played together so there's hope that will come.

I've never had a problem entering / leaving the states with the same thing in my passport - also Abu Dhabi / Saudi stamps - the UAE is one of the American's main allies in the region.

I think he's mostly right footed, and that he prefers his right when going forward with the ball, for instance, but if the ball is on his left, it won't stop him trying to find a pass... and playing on the left side of defense, the ball will more often than not come to his left. That's how I see it anyway.
