He was raw as anything, his anticipation was terrible but when on the ball he looked lively. Let's hope he's developed a lot at Lille, must admit I've only caught highlights of what he's been doing but 7 in 29 is not exactly encouraging.

Whats his assist like, thats just as important and winning FK's etc.

Highlights for belgium much better, at least he likes chasing after loose balls and running at folk. Unlike some at LFC just now.

He isn't as great as people think he is.

7 in 29 in the French League is a terrible return, I don't expect him to start any game with us next season.

I haven't heard many people making him out to be the answer to our main problem or some top quality player but he could potentially be a top player in years to come. Like HscRed said, he's 19 and I also agree that that isn't bad for somebody his age and somebody who has been playing more as a wide forward. He's got more than most of our strikers this season...

I agree, but lots of people expect something big from him but I don't see him getting lots of starts with us next season.

Yes it is. That's excellent for his age.

In that league getting those returns I don't think it is but I did look on whoscored and it appears he hasn't played all his games as a striker so they might be a little misleading.

Ligue 1 has a lower scoring rate than the prem. For comparison - its higher than Benzema and Henry at the same age. Also, until he turned 20 a few weeks ago, he was the highest scoring teenager in any of the top 5 leagues. Its obviously fantastic.

In a league with less goals than the prem, with a better scoring rate than Benzema and Henry at the same age - and the same return as Hazard at the same age. I don't think you guys are quite understanding how strongly correlated age and scoring is and how fantastic 7 goals as a teenager is.

Fair enough fella, I'll bow to your greater knowledge of the french league then and hope he does become prolific.

The type of finish Balotelli didn't come close to making this season.

Can't say I expect him to come here all guns blazing for such a young player, but surely bringing him has got to be a big boost - can't get any worse for our strikers!

Hopefully the shot in the arm the striker area needs.

Even now he seems better than Lambert, Borini and Balotelli combined.

can anyone confirm why he was in livepool yesterday or sunday?

was he just sorting out a new ken before the start of pre-season so its all sorted and he can just focus on footy?

      Me.

I want to know what car he drives, if he has a new bird, where the pictures in his house are, and if he has had work done on his teeth.

I want to know all of this in time for his first appearance for us, so that if he doesn't do well I can use these things against him.

Most importantly, how many children does he have? When Raheem leaves we won't have a mature teenager who understands fatherhood in the squad. We need a high level of maturity or else we won't achieve anything.
