      Not for me lads.

I still think a lot of Mignolet's poor form stems from what goes on in front of him.

As it stands right now I'd have the following but as soon as Sakho was fit he'd be straight in as well.

      Mignolet

      Manquillo  Skrtel  Toure  Moreno

      Lucas

      Can  Coutinho

      Sterling  Borini  Lallana

I bet an awful lot of people would have that bar the odd exception so why is it so different to Brendans team that just lost 3 in a row. We definitely have a team in there far better than the sh*te we have seen form them so far

Agree 100% and although the Madrid game wasn't totally conclusive and we still lost it showed a glimpse of what we could get oout of our current squad of players.

I was bitterly disappointed when I seen the line up before the Chelsea game.

Sturridge said he should be back for Palace, and PhysioRoom lists Sakho as being back that game as well. Both come right back into the team for me, assuming they're fit.

Don't think he has done enough to warrant starting every game.
Sure he's a great reaction keeper, but he doesn't command his area enough for me.

And assuming Brendan hasn't fallen out with Sakho as some have indicated may have happened.

He's still better than Jones I feel Racer but that is the problem.

      No realistic competition.

I am pretty sure Gerrard and the other players "rested" could have managed to lose against Madrid too mate.

Everyone's entitled to their opinion.  I just think he lacks catching, kicking and organisational ability. Spreads fear forward to the defenders rather than defenders spooking him.

                                          Mignolet

Gerrard (Flanno)     Toure           Lovren (Sakho)       Enrique

                                           Lucas

                               Lallana           Coutinho

                                         Sterling

                                Balotelli           Borini (Sturridge)

Get back to the F***ing diamond and play two up front.

Drop both Johnson and Manquillo. Neither are good enough.

Play Enrique over Moreno who is too excited. Bit of composure and no nonsense defending is what we need right now.

Put an end to the Lovren and Skrtel partnership and get Kolo in there. As soon as Sakho is fit get him in there too.

Drop Gerrard from the DM position and ask him to do a job for us at RB until flanno is fit.

Drop Henderson and give Lallana more game time.

Play Sterling and Coutinho centrally where they will cause damage to other teams.

I'm confident that team ^^^^ would beat Palace comfortably.

Mignolet; McLaughlin, Toure, Sakho, Moreno; Can, Hendo, Lallana, Coutinho; Sterling, Sturridge.

Need to go back to getting our most dangerous players on the pitch and start taking the game to teams again.

How is Ryan getting on? I remember a few years ago it looked like only a matter of time before McLaughlin was promoted and displaced Johnson, but haven't heard much about him of late.

Keeps picking up injuries mate so can't get a run of games.  It's hampered his early development over the last 18mths.

Is Flanagan fully fit? If he's, there's no doubt for me who should be starting at RB. I'd like to see a midfield diamond with Gerrard deeper (or perhaps Can), Henderson and Lallana further ahead on either side of midfield and Coutinho as the number 10. Sterling and Sturridge further forward.

No, had surgery on his knee, likely return some time in December but after that type of injury a return to previous form probably a few months from then.

Sakho has to come back in. You can take your pick of which defender gets replaced but we need him in there.

Damn, sorry to hear that. He looked like such a natural, attack-minded FB in all the youth matches I've seen him in.

He did and there's still time for him.  Considering he's only playing u21's footy he's still being selected for senior International duties.

      Sturridge

Brendan was five months behind me but he got there in the end, three at the back is the best way for us to go given the players we have.
