LFC - Premier League Finish Predictions 2014/15

Hand on heart think we will finish lower than 2nd and think United will finish higher than 7th.

Chelsea to win the league.

I think Liverpool, Spurs, the mancs and Everton will all be fighting for the last CL spot. I think that if we don't buy a good striker we could easily finish back in 6th if Sturridge is out for a while.

If we get a good striker and with the strengthening we have already made to the squad, I think we will finish top 4, probably fighting with Arsenal for that 3rd spot.   

Bit confused, why are Arsenal going to be so much better than last season, is it just because of Sanchez? Personally I think we are a much much better team this season than last, far more options and strength in depth. Yes we'll miss Luis but there are plenty of goals in our team as it stands and if we can get another top striker in then we really should be pushing for top spot.

I don't think Arsenal will be that much stronger than last season.... I think we will be that much weaker than last season.

We finished 5 points in front of Arsenal last season, the loss of Suarez will cost us more than 5 points imo. Personally I don't believe there are a lot of goals in our team. Even if we buy a decent striker I think we are back to scoring around 75 goals and then it becomes all about how many we concede.

Yes we do need another Striker and I believe BR is working on this at this very moment in time , however we can only bring players in who are available , F**k knows who this player will be but I trust Brendan to find a suitable candidate,

Without doubt we will miss the 'crazy' one but I think we will be stronger with more options,
Like all good sides do when they lose a linchpin player we will adapt and evolve
We are not a one player team,

Sly sports place us as 5th favs, that suits us fine, but who f***in cares what they think, they'll be so wrapped up in LVG as the saviour of Scumchester, and nothing else matters,(can't wait for another major fail there btw,)

It's gathering people's opinions on where teams will finish - hopefully based on either a) blind faith or b) accumulated knowledge of football.

Went for 2nd for 2 reasons. First being Im usually wrong so hopefully me saying second means we get first!!

But I think the season will take a toll on us. Its a young squad and adjusting to playing premier league games after champions league games plus the added pressure from supporters who will now expect things after a great season last season I think will prevent us winning it.

Think we need a trophy this season no matter which one but I think well just miss out on the main one

I've predicted us to finish 3rd, not too far behind 1st and 2nd though (Chelsea and Man City) with Arsenal coming 4th.

Personally I've gone for first, I think our transition and the speed of it may just surprise people.

I personally think Utd will get back to top 4 at the expense of...

Arsenal.

They just can't seem to sustain a challenge. As for us, well after last seasons efforts I knew top priority would be to consolidate a CL position. So that's where I see this season with another title push the following season.

I've said 3rd. Mainly for the fact we have lost Suarez and i can't see where his goals/creativity are coming from. Hopefully we can shore up at the back a little to compensate and have a real go in Europe and one of the cups. Bring it on!

Don't care where anyone else finishes. I reckon with all the games we will have this year we will finish 3rd though.

I'd be happy with a decent run in the CL and one of the domestic cups and a 3rd place finish in the league. That would signal progression for me as we obviously had much less games to play last season plus we haven't really replaced our vacant strikers position adequately yet.

This coming season is going to be even more competitive than any prem season ever I reckon.
Any of 5 teams could win.
I believe though the top few places will be:

With the current strikers 4th, if we manage to get someone in, depending on quality anywhere in the top 3.

I can't see Man united getting better than 4th. So far they have managed to bring in a midfielder who's only quality is he can foul at a higher rate than Lucas, and a fat 18 year old left back on 150k a week for a combined 60 mil.
They are trying to bring in: Hummels, Kroos, Di Maria, Vidal, Cuadrado, Song
They've got a decent manager, but he's never managed in the prem before, and their team is pretty sh*t, especially their defence.

I put us as second. We've got it in us to go all the way, but I could see us struggling to get going initially so I think 2nd is reasonable. City to win it. Chelski 3rd. Arsenal, the same place as every year. Spurs to collapse after Adebayor murders all his team mates. He just seems like that kind of guy.

With you on that one, mate. Although I reckon we will pip Arse for 3rd spot (which I voted us to finish).

A lot right now depends on whether or not we get that proven goalscorer. It will be difficult for us to sustain a steady challenge with only Sturridge and no one to complement him as Suarez did last season.

We are gonna win the F***ing League...couldn't give a sh*t who fills the minor places.
