Can't see Markovic featuring in this game, has he returned to training yet?

90 minutes for Lovern. A good run out for Manquillo. A goal or 2 from Coutinho. And Glen Johnson nowhere to be seen would be a good day for me
Sorry mate but I'm a humble guy so only this is good enough for me :D

Seriously, what I want to see most is Lazar Markovic play or on the bench. It will be mad to know hes' serious injure before a season start.

      Markovic has a hamstring strain
Nothing too serious, but might keep him out of the game against Southampton

      Guessing we'll see:

      Mignolet
      Johnson        Skrtel         Sakho         Enrique
      Gerrard
      Henderson         Emre Can
      Sterling                       Coutinho
      Sturridge

Lovren and Allen on at half.

      No problem.

For some reason I thought the match was today, and started panicking at 12 o'clock when I couldn't find it online

As long as Coutinho doesn't play wide left and only as the #10 in the middle, I would be happy to see us play any formation and players.

Tough test this match and exactly what we need, difficult to pick a starting X1 so many options so I'm going with this.....

                      Mignolet
       Manquillo Skrtle Lovren Jose
              Henderson Gerrard
           Sterling  Coutinho  Ibe
                      Sturridge

Bench; Jones, Flanno, Johnson, Sakho, Lucas, Can , Allen, Suso Markovic, Lambert, Borini, Peterson

Obviously love to see us start our winning streak, however for me it's more important to play well,be confident both on and off the ball and  come thru injury free.

      Mignolet
      Manquillo Coates Lovren Enrique
      Can Gerrard
      Ibe Coutinho Sterling
      Sturridge

I wouldn't even put Johnson on the bench.  Send him a message that it's time to go.

No room for Flanno or is he unavailable?

I have no arguments with that 11 playing what so ever. I've thoroughly enjoyed watching Coates in pre-season, he's been very impressive considering his performances for us a few seasons ago. I think though that Brendan may play who he thinks is his strongest 11 and who will start the first game of the season against Southampton. A few of those probably won't start (Manquillo, Coates, Ibe, Can).

Lots of respect for Dortmund and with it being a sellout and them bringing over 1000 fans it should be a great occasion.

We should be up to speed now and it'll be interesting to see the line up. I'm sure it'll be more or less the same that starts against Southampton next weekend unless maybe Sturridge comes off the bench tomorrow and the addition of Moreno sometime later in the week.

Is Flanagan still injured? If not, I'd have him at right back in a heartbeat and Manquillo as deputy right back - Johnson has had his time. Lets hope he continues his ascendency and doesn't reverse this year (I thought he was absolutely shocking in the last game of the season against Newcastle).

The weather is a bit rough but it's not teaming down or nothing, a bit blustery and wet.
Can't see why it should get called off or anything.

If the game was taking place in Wimbledon it'd be off for sure. Just took the dog up the common and I might as well have worn a f*cking wetsuit and a set of flippers.

Confirmed #LFC team v Dortmund: Mignolet, Manquillo, Johnson, Skrtel, Lovren, Gerrard, Can, Henderson, Sterling, Coutinho, Sturridge

Seems that that little open training session was an eye opener to the back four he wants, for this game at least.

Strong team. Debut for Manquillo and hope Sturridge's recovered properly.
