It's a shame that Spurs won in injury time; them, Arsenal, Everton and Man United all potentially dropping points in the first week when they were expected to win would have been quality!

Man City have been just as bad as we have been today, same can be said with United, Arsenal and Tottenham.

None of the top teams have even played remotely close to well.

My mate just won £900 predicting: Liverpool 2:1 Southampton, Hearts 2:1 Hibs and Newcastle 0:2 Man City.

And only two teams this weekend won their matches at home - Arsenal and Liverpool.

Really? I thought some of their play in the final third was quality. I get the similarity because the two matches flowed the same way but on that performance they're going to be quality this season.

Just to add, the strength of their bench is F***ing phenomenal.

They maybe created a little more than we did but if Newcastle had taken their chances, they'd have come out with a draw.

Just a similarity that if both Newcastle and Southampton took their chances, they'd have came home with the points.

Watching Swansea yesterday, gotta say I still think Sigurdsson would have been a good signing for us. We don't need him anymore, but he's a good player.

Chelsea have got to be favourites with that squad, it's scary how many options they have now after those 3 signings they made.

Luckily they don't have a good track record with big money signings other than Hazard and Mata so hopefully Cesc and Costa will go the same way.

      Burnley 1-0 up.

I'm surprised but Chelsea should come back.

It's only Burnley but Costa does appear to have settled right in.

Biting challenge on Ivanovic there, just like having Suarez about that  :f_whistle:

Sure, Burnley are a newly promoted side, but Chelsea look a different team with Fabregas in the middle and Costa up top.

      Fair that.

They were dire to watch even against lesser opposition, struggling through. Looks like perhaps Jose wasn't talking sh*t when he said he wanted to play a better brand of football, some nice stuff they're playing unfortunately.
