Maybe your right, time will tell, in the meantime if Luis Suarez rates him that'll do for me. I'd take him over Moreno's headless chicken impressions every time.

      Yep.

Hope he gets the gig at LB.

Lacks intelligence, decision making is so poor, runs forward forgetting that he needs to track back to defend.

Exposes his center backs for his poor positioning, and what? puts 1 decent cross out of 6? ''oh but his stats say he is the best chance creator''

Lucas covering his arse a few times too tonight , he doesn't warrant a start tbh , Smith for the start next time or even Flanno .

Sakho had to cover for him too, it's criminal.

Definite worry, I want my fullback to defend first then support the winger. He can't do the former. I'm not sure Smith is ready, but worth the punt.

It would be more forgivable if what he produced up top actually made a difference. All he does is continually lose the ball up there anyway, he's a liability at both ends of the field at the moment.

The first minute in Mahrez shoots at goal going wide but Moreno's way up the pitch .

I noticed that too. His first thought at all times is to bomb as far forward as possible. It'd be great to see our full backs sit back from time to time and offer some solidarity to the defence instead of leaving the centre backs by themselves to deal with everything coming their way.

He's obviously told to get forward because he's constantly doing it . Alarm bells should have been ringing in the first 15 mins , Mahrez was completely free to do what he liked .

He's our biggest offensive threat. That says a lot about how bad our other players are, but it is true. Also, the fact that he's attacking so much is clearly instruction considering he does it every single game and you don't see Klopp screaming at him to get back and defend.

Why won't Jürgen try to play Smith in behind Moreno?

We've all said it, how about Jürgen gives it a shot?

I'd rather see Smith in front of Moreno. Playing Moreno elsewhere on the pitch won't help his development as a defender.

It was appalling mate , crossfield with so much empty space  and it wasn't anywhere near our players .Mahrez was on it like a fly to sh*t .

Never going to be good enough for us so we might as well sell him as soon as we can and try and get most of our money back from a Spanish team.

      sh*te. Utter, utter sh*te.

He's a fraud. Just a sprinter that poses as a footballer. The F***ing scary thing is it took a month of watching him to see he is garbage and his competition is a left back who had one foot out the door in the summer. And i'd still take Smith over him any day of the week.

Moreno can't defend - Smith, we don't really know yet. Can he be worse?

Moreno can't pass or cross - Smith can pass and his cross is brilliant.

Moreno is quick - Smith is quick, too.

Moreno's runs forward are dead ends and takes three touches too many in getting a cross in to the point he ends up on the byline with nowhere to go because his right foot is as useful as wet cardboard - Smith cuts inside and goes out wide, he overlaps and he lets his body shape allow him to run at his man or whip a cross in.

Moreno doesn't track his man - Smith we don't know yet, can he be worse?

I do hope he is sold in the summer. We might get SOMETHING for him from a mid table Spanish club. Just facepalmingly awful.

      I agree

woeful player, his shot in the first half summed him up, awful awful decision.

My 10 year-old son has better defensive positional sense than Moreno.  Nuff said

I don't trust Moreno as a defender that's why I'd rather have Smith behind him covering up his F**k ups!

Must have some incriminating photos of Jürgen, can't think how else he gets on the pitch.

Along with Sakho needs a spell on the sideline.

I add Moreno to the list of players (can, Sakho, mignolet, Ibe, benteke) who really don't know how to play their position and have little or no footballing intelligence.
