Not like you to be positive about anything all things RED these days. Shouldn't you pi** off back to the transfer board and prove us all wrong when we lose.
After all the crap you spew about our non  signing's you needn't bother watching the game. Sh*t signings,sh*t Manager,sh*t Board,sh*t Players. Your word's i'm sure(read your own posts) just to be sure.

      How many have you had?

Yes, I'll admit to unfairly criticising Lallana time and again. I understand it got a little tiresome but with a change of heart, I'm actually looking forward to seeing him feature for us. I don't particularly like transfer windows - they frustrate me. But I'm actually happy with most of our transfers and am delighted with the man who manages them.

I'm just looking forward to us playing football again to be honest.

Prediction: Mignolet; Manquillo, Skrtel, Lovren, Johnson; Gerrard, Henderson, Allen; Sterling, Coutinho, Sturridge (4-3-3)

Bench: Jones; Sakho, Enrique; Lucas, Can, Suso; Lambert

Would prefer Can to Allen in this one for his physical presence in deal with Wanyama as he gets forward, but have a feeling Joe will get the nod ahead of Emre.

This is our last first matchday without the league! I think we'll win easily with 3-0!

Let's not underestimate Soton. We need to be cautious and not be overconfident. Swansea beat the scums and Palace nearly snatched a draw if not for the offside goal. Treat them with respect.

not gonna predict huge score line here, just be glad of a 1 - 0 win. Think we are capable of more if we play to out best, but 1st match and Saints as well. Be a bit nervy I think. They will no doubt be trying a little bit harder, against players they are well accustomed to playing against. Depends on how their new signings bed  in as to how they perform. Hope we murder them, and go top, but not putting my mortgage on it.
Could be a bit jittery, could be a calm calculated land slide by us. Hoping for the latter.

I can't bloody stand the nervous excitement. Take nothing for granted, hit him hard hit him fast and destroy him. Same team as last week. Press high, high intensity and some clinical finishing and we should beat them by plenty. Be prepared for them to try start fast too and press high also. Emre and Gerrard will have a hard job at the start. Get a two goal lead and they will call it a day.

      Love this sh*t.

Can't wait for this.  3 points, top of the league, would look good on the cv whilst trying to attract a worldly striker.

Can't see Saints posing to many problems if I'm honest, I'd like to think we will be handing out a proper battering,

      I'd like to see this.......

                                 Mignolet
          Manquillo  Skrtel Lovren  Enrique
                                 Gerrard
           Henderson    coutinho   Emre can
                  Sterling.           Sturridge

Not to taxing for the back boys and a front
5 having a field day, love us to be 3 up by half time then who knows how many second half, might be able to rest Ste save his legs, it's a long old campaign this season, also love to see Ricky come on and bag his first,  C'mon Redmen we're the sinners today let's F**k these Saints over good & proper.

Fook me 4 hours to kick off and we've barely hit 5 pages.

Start of the season cant beat it. The buzz and the thoughts of what might be. Id take a  nil today just to get the 3 points on the board. I expect them  to make it difficult for us but think well break them down.

2 nil reds. Hopefully a start for Suso and a goal for him or coutinho and 1 from Sturridge to get him off the mark!

      Come on redmen!

Expecting a fairly similar side to last weekend - maybe Can giving way, or possibly Jose to start.  Either way if we click early on I can see this being fairly comfortable.  Will be interesting to see how the Saints approach differs to last season.

Saw an interesting stat on BBC that Sturridge's goals were worth more points than any other player in the league last season.  Luis who?

If we get a quick start the game will be set up for us to steamroller them but I would take a 1-0 right now.

So pumped for this game. I just pray it isn't as emotional as our game this time last season. That missed penalty almost killed me.

Supposedly Lucas is starting ahead of Can today.
