Watched a programme on him earlier so had to get this thread started. What a fooking player he was. Has there ever been a finisher like him! I absolutely adored him.

So any stories, pictures, youtube clips, memories about him lets get them in here.

Awesome player and my favourite during my teens.

I actually can't remember now if I saw his debut against Fulham or just read about it but I remember talking in school about the second leg and those five goals.

I've said it before on here but I was driving home from work when Rafa signed him to bring him back and I screamed like a kid and phoned my missus to tell her. She thought I'd gone mad. ;D

Great stuff Si...another thing I took from that video was the fact that Warrior must have been making the GK kits under a different name back then.

Best story is I used to knock around with his cousin Tony (who I think won a boxing medal at the Commenwealth Games) when we toddlers in Windsor St nursery. While I stayed on at Windsor St, Tony went to St Pats (which ironically is on Windsor St, while Windsor St school is on Upper Hill St). And Tony's mam, Donna, shaved me head clean of blonde F***ing curls, to the style I've kept to this day.

F**k me that takes me back.

Not a bad player, that's for sure. Can't see why people thought he was that good though.  8) :P

Him and Rush made an appearance at Fenway during the team's training session; Rushie got a warm reception in contrast to Fowler who people (astonishingly) didn't seem to recognize.

I just projected "GOD", and I'll be a skunk's c**t if him and Rushie didn't look right at me from some distance away. I waved.   xxxxx:action-smiley-065:

When Rafa signed him, he said he would sign for no money. He didn't care how much he was paid. He just wanted to return. What a man!

We all live in a Robbie Fowler house.

I was born in 87 so Fowler was my first Liverpool hero. He will always be my hero, my idol. Brilliant player, the best I've ever seen.

One of the players who i get upset over not getting to see at his best when at LFC (being too young), every now and then i go onto youtube watch a compilation video of his and finish the video amazed of his brilliance, every time.

      Truly was a talent.

I remember on his first game back at the club he scored an overhead kick but it was disallowed.

Still think this is one of his best goals, was sat in the Paddock, Anny Rd end and watching the movement out of him and the finish was a thing of beauty, left Stan Staunton for dead.
