He'll score, at least one, tonight. That is all.

A great chance for him to prove to everyone, he is good enough to pull that red shirt on. Needs to pull his finger out though.

What if this lad plays deep and Sterling pushes forward?

And sometimes those lead to long range goals....

I can't see many agreeing with me which is fine but this lad does not deserve to start tonight after that performance on sunday as well as one or two other performances. He won't chase the ball or fight to hold it when it comes up to him.

The frustration with his 'effort' on sunday was visible in the rest of the team.

Lambert is not the greatest player in the world, but he will give us everything tonight ... and he starts for me.

Yip - he's only 12s for 2 or more, 15/8 anytime & 7s first. That said, I've went for a 20/1 shot for first goal & Mario anytime + lfc to win (16/1)...

Just a few quid on each.

He's more likely not to score. He has proven to miss sitters.

Would be nice to see the lad bang a couple in tonight, maybe the atmosphere can give him that energy, I still hold to opinion he will come good for us sooner or later.

I don't know if that's my opinion too, but it is my hope. And I'll continue to support him and hope he comes good because really what alternative do we have.

So has every striker on the planet.

Sometimes players miss when they should score.
      They're human, it happens.
Especially when they are as anxious as Balotelli seems to be.

The alternative is to not play him, fairly obvious really. I'd play Borini and Sterling up front until Sturridge is fit again. IF Balotelli proves in training that he's capable of getting a goal then he can come on as a sub at some point, maybe.

Doesn't he have a Champions League goal already this year? If so then he's proven that he can get a goal.

      Nobody will buy him

Hes finished blew his last chance, which is what his agent said this move was for him. Going to kill our team spirit. The pr**k swapped shirts with Pepe at half time, tw*t

He'll be alright as a bit part player. He can't handle being the main man.

He simply isn't good enough to be the main man at a top club. Lacks the intelligence and work ethic.

Pretty sure you'll be able to count on one hand how many more starts he'll make in a Liverpool shirt before he's sold.

Brendan said he looked him in the eye and seen a player who wanted to work hard and do well. No fooking way will Rodgers drop him after that statement he'd look like a clown
