      100 Games for the Boss
      Aug 27, 2014 12:15:10 pm
Our next match against Spurs will be Brendan Rodgers' 100th (official) game in charge of Liverpool Football Club.

After a rocky start, the past 18 months have been as good as anything we've seen in the last 20-25 years. Hopefully the lads can celebrate the landmark with a massive victory over Tottenham. They're a team that Brendan's Reds average more than 3 goals per game against, has three wins out of the four meetings and has good memories from White Hart Lane from last year.

      Current record is;

      99 games
      55 wins
      21 draws
      23 defeats
      A staggering 211 goals scored
      A disappointing 123 goals conceded

      Well done Boss.

Great job Boss! Truth is I would not wish for anyone else to be in his place and that speaks all! That is just the type of manager a developing LFC needs. Manager who knows quality when he sees it, who can produce a world class player and not just buy one. Manager who strives for thrilling, attacking football, football which makes the neutral viewer become a LFC fan. Wish him many more years as our manager!

As you say he has done well after a ropey start.

Amazing to think he's had 21 competitive games in charge of us outside of the Premier League too! (Can't remember too many of them!)

Well that flew by didn't it?

I'm not sure I'd swap him for anyone else which is the biggest compliment I can pay him..

Behaves like a Liverpool boss and has his teams play like a Liverpool team so the only thing missing is that success which I think is just around the corner.

He is probably the boss at the most difficult time in the leagues history ,now any team can win on any given day and 3 teams are able to spend vast amounts of cash to build squads.1st away defeat of the year is a real tribute to the improvements he has made. He needs and deserves to win a trophy this season

Good milestone to reach after chopping and changing a couple of manages and after the rocky start I think it would be fair to say that more than a few of us thought he might just about last a season in charge. None the less he has turned things around and really improving this squad.

F**k all this love in bollocks, bring back the owl!

On a more serious note, absolutely loved our football last year and can't thank the man enough for making me enjoy a season so much. No resting on your laurels though Brendan, more of the same my man, more of the same.

BR is definitely doing great so far.  however I think this season will define just what kind of manager he really is.

      - his system is now firmly in place
      - he has all the support staff he wants
      - his players know and understand him
      - he has his long term contract so stability is here
      - he had a really good transfer window

basically, he got all his pieces now, there really are no excuses.... lets see just how good our boss is

I think the attacking style of play, Brendan has instilled into the side, has made the Reds a very watchable team, even for the neutrals. Some well deserved silverware would be the icing on the cake, Well done Boss.

Deserves a load of credit our boss. Proved a few doubters wrong on his way to 100 games.

Big test is going to be the European Cup, though.

Good luck for tomorrow boss, let's mark the century with a win.

Said when he came in that everything about him just felt right, he 'gets' us.

Early doors he baffled me with some of his rhetoric, if truth be told i think he even baffled himself.

Very happy with Brendan and how he is dealing with the ins and outs of players, must be difficult getting rid of players who have served us well but somebody has to do it and he's doing it.

My only gripe has to be his soft spot for Pascoe, we need a defensive coach as his right hand man, not a puppet.

Anyway, well done Brendan on you first milestone, here's to many more.

Pascoe seems to be quite competent from everything I've seen and heard (save for his shorts). Could you expand on what you mean?
