      I've gone 5 - 0 in the prediction league... I've got a feeling we'll destroy them.

Lets face it, better finishing in the spurs match could have seen us with 6 or 7

Not sure the FA have anything to do with it.

Who's responsible? Whoever it is they must be hardcore anti-us.

Must watch out for that Wiesman fella, seems to pop-up at the right place and time to score.

Villa are a very average team for the PL and we should be winning this one comfortably as a result.

3-0 with goals from Sterling, Balo and Lovren for me!

My team for today would be:
                                         Migs
      Manquillo         Lovren               Sakho       Moreno
                                      Gerrard
                   Hendo                            Lallana
      Sterling                       Mario                     Markovic

      3-1 to the redmen

Sturridge out - silly time to rest Sterling. Yes we have depth and should be still able to beat Villa without both BUT why risk it? Rest him for Ludogrets would make more sense.

Wins a must to keep the red train on target.

Three points here is far more important than the result against Ludogorets.

I expect this to be the strongest line up of the week ahead.

Why do people keep putting Lallana in the centre of midfield in their hypothetical line-ups?

I'm not saying he can't - but as he never played there for southampton, it seems a bit odd to say that is where he will play for us.

I know Villa usually give us a really tough game and we've dropped plenty of points against them at home, but I feel confident today and I'm hoping to see Balo's first goal at Anfield!

      3-1 win to the Reds!

Lot of people predicting a rest for Sterling (not on here I should add), would be very surprised if we went for that. If he needs a rest it should be Tuesday night. Villa are a dangerous side away from home and we need to be on it from the first whistle if we want to get all three points here.

Absolutely love the lineup we went with. Ecstatic to see what Lazar, Lallana, and Balo can do together.

      Let's go.
