what about Pro evolution soccer 2015. Is FIFA better? Haven't played it on PS3 or PS4, but I remember that on PS2 I perfer PES. Now I'm getting PS4 and have delema to buy FIFA or PES.

As usual Liverpool very weak , Suarez when he was with us he got 86 but now suddenly it's 89 just cause he plays for barca wow , sterling and Henderson and sturridge are all underrated .
So disappointed by the ratings to be honest out new players ratings are lallana 79 lovren 79 markovic 78 , Balotelli 83 or 84 not sure , lambert 76 I'll check later for can and Moreno

FIFA was always better on Xbox 360 and PS3, which is a shame because PES used to be brilliant on PS2. Saying that, this years PES is looking great! And its out a lot later this year, closer to Christmas, so you could always buy FIFA and get someone to buy you PES for Christmas ;D

Downloading demo now on PS4. FFS I have an exam Friday, sisters birthday, footy finals, Liverpool game, all one after the other this weekend.

That's all put to the side for now as i try this game out. Hope it's better than Fifa 14 on PS3.

      It's meh..

Shooting is definitely harder, can't just smash it and it goes in every time. Passing is better, the runs the striker makes are good and tackling is more realistic.

Still early from me though. One thing i found weird is the winner of the demo game celebrates the EPL trophy :D

      Thought shooting was easy.
Just slow to a walking pace before you shoot. Goal.
Tackling easier, which was a bonus.

Not sure what to make of the FUT.
Did the Premier League Mix and put Mignolet and Gerrard in. Got 100%
Even my young lad won quite easily.
How do you change the difficulty settings?

Yes it did happen to me as well it seems it from EA servers that are glitchy , the only fix atm is before launching the demo you have to sign out from psn and play offline and it won't lag .

Ps: sterling is too damn good for 79 I guess pacey players on FIFA 15 have their say , when I play against sterling it seems impossible to get the ball of him .

Coutinho had three shots and scored them all; one from about 35 yards.

Fifa 14 was utter dog sh*t.
I have had virtually every Fifa edition since they started...only bought one World Cup edition though...the 98 one.

Been playing last night and a little this morning..... and I'm not really digging it, I preferred the feel of FIFA14 to be honest, its gone back to FIFA 13 were it's all about pace. I do like the new goal keeping though, seen a few howlers from keepers you wouldn't see in previous games.

Was going to hang on and see what people were saying about it so the option to go with PES 15 was still open but that's not out until mid November which is very late and bad business by Konami.

I'll probably do a £30 shop in Sainsbury's tomorrow so I get it for £34.99.

Hope the passing has sorted itself out.

i'm bored of them changing little things. what's the game momentum like? they can dress sh*t up all they want but it still feels like a SEGA arcade game where you're pinging the ball around at top speed. i want momentum shifts and proper realistic skills.

i don't have a "next gen console" yet and I am not getting one for crowd and grass updates!

I just wish they would return to the more user friendly set up of Fifa 13.
So much easier to navigate especially in career mode.
Playability of Fifa 15 is pretty good but the manager interface is a little frustrating.

Don't mind it, think it's quite good for what I use it for. I don't really get involved in online games and careers etc. Me and a mate usually just get pissed and what have you on a Friday night and just play each other. It's fine for that.

The automatic player switching really does my head in this year. Last year it was OK, but this time it's really out of whack and seems to always switch right before I press the tackle button, causing the wrong player to tweak out.

Does anybody use manual switching? How is that in comparison?

It's when you're defending and the game automatically picks which player you control (usually the one closest to the ball).

Haven't gotten this one, but I've gotten a glitch where players' heads will be the purple model they build faces off of! The heads then completely disappear on replay. It's hilarious, especially when they score headers.

Got it for Christmas for Xbox One, been playing online recently. My main gripe...I played with LFC for about an hour and gave up because our side is basically crap on this game, I couldn't score, couldn't defend, nothing.

So I picked Bayern Munich and have been playing with them. Of course every single team I get matched up against is Real Madrid and it seems like no matter what I do on defense, the turd playing against me just gets the ball to Bale or Ronaldo and outruns the entire defense and scores. If I pick up an early goal and park the bus, they still manage to get a crap goal purely from the speed of Ronaldo or Bale. It's a bit irritating because I can boss a game for almost the full 90 then give up some crap counter attacking 100mph run goal from Ronaldo.

In the year 2020 on my career mode (simulated a lotttt) and my team is looking the business, I've gone with not buying players just the youth academy and dealing with what I have and it's worked wonders for me!

      i play a 4-3-3

GK - Dunn (Academy Product) 20yrs old and rated at 80
RB - Flanno and rated 88!
CB - Jay (Academy) 23 and rated 82
CB - Alternate between Illori, Sakho & Lovren all rated 84
      LB - Moreno rated 85
      CDM - Hendo 85
LCM - Schröder (Academy) 22 and rated 84
      RCM - Coutinho 87
      RW - Raheem 88
      ST - Studge 88
      LW - Origi... 90!

and i have an abundance of teenagers all rated between 75 - 80. 3 GK's with potential to be special in the reserves.

I've also made some money, Manquillo got to 85 then asked for a transfer and got £40mil for him, Ballo went for £60mil as well. and a great one was i got offered £50mil for flanno when he was rated about 80 from Monaco. I've got £130,000,000 in the bank with half a mil weekly wage budget to share as well.

Has anybody had an issue with their DM having horrendous positioning? Whoever is played at DM seems to be the furthers forward of all my midfielders, regardless of team/player/league/etc. It's weird ;D

Is that in the formation screen? (I don't typically try tweaking those too much.)

Ah man it makes the game MUCH better imo. Having the right people in the right place at the right time is down to working the tactics I think, you can make your players make more runs which in its own right makes the game better. And yes you can also change their work rate there too incase you don't want all your midfielders running forward, and in the same way, make attacking midfielders run forward more.

I should fool around with it then. I don't play too much, at least not like PES5 on PS2 hah. I love the buying/selling aspect in manager mode but it always seems like switching to Football Manager would be a tad too involving.

Yea in FIFA you can buy and sell as you please and can build new teams quickly, it's a slower game in FM

      Hello all,

Sorry to be a pain in the arse but i know F**k all about online playing so i am hoping somebody here can help me out. My boy was somehow playing his Fifa 15 online in some sort of Season scenario yesterday. He was in Division 10 and i think he had to play ten games with a points target of 9 points for promotion.

I picked a team for him which had Ibe and Sturridge among many others, obviously it was a Liverpool team. The problem i had was when he was about to start his next match something came up on the screen saying that it was downloading and applying online squads. When the game started all the players i had changed were not in the team and neither were they on the bench either! It is really pissing me off and i would love some help for my boy if anybody can help.

Another thing that pissed me off was his next game was against another Liverpool team and the opponent had Skrtel, Sturridge and Gerrard playing yet i wasn't able to use them in my team, i was well fu**ed off. I don't know if there is a setting that you have to disable to stop this happening but it is pissing me off no end. Another annoying thing is that when it applies the squad i have Manquillo, Johnson and Enrique on the bench and i only have Lucas as a midfielder!

Like i said, i have never played online before so i just need to know how to pick a team for his Season that won't keep changing every time he starts a new match in that Season.

Apologies if there is a delay in any reply as i've just got home from work and i'm going to sleep. Thanks.

Every time it updates squads/rosters it reverts back to the team that has been playing in real life usually, to update real time stats etc... after it's updated, you can just go into team management before the game and change it back to how you like it... you won't have to change it again then, it will remember your squad, until another squad update is launched then you'll have to remember the change it around again, quite annoying really..

Nope because you need the latest update to play online, with player stats constantly changing now due to in real life form, everyone needs the players to have the same stats to make it a level playing field I guess.

Ok then. Looking for some help here. Just started playing online on my PS4 and i can see why i have never bothered before. I went into Seasons mode and got promoted from Division 10 to 9 ( F**k knows how because i'm sh*te ). Then i just seem to keep playing PSG and Arsenal and every f**ker i play keeps using the chipped pass move and there's F**k all i can do to stop it. It's getting quite boring and i refuse to use the tactic myself as it's pathetic.

I've gone down the single DM route but it doesn't seem to be working. I'd just like some tips on formations and custom tactics etc. to help me get started. I'd like to play a 4-2-3-1 formation if possible.

Another thing that pisses me off is when i get the ball my players are too slow to get up the field and support and by the time i get it to Sturridge there is nobody in support of him.

Any help would be appreciated as i am brand new to this.

      Thanks in advance.

You should go back and see what I posted...was having the same issue.

Basically I had to start parking the bus, and trying to get a goal on the counter. Otherwise my defensive players are absolute garbage. If I play a back 3 or a back 4 it doesn't matter, I've had times where Sakho is wandering around in the attacking half and I've got Zlatan going through one on one and beating Skrtel everytime.

It's very frustrating. I even went in and tried to change my tactics to all defensive and my backline still goes on a walkabout.

Thanks for the reply Red. Understand where you are coming from.

The trouble with Google is that there are so many bloody answers and hypothesis that you could spend hours trying to find what works.

Lost my first three games but changed to 4-5-1 with Henderson as anchor and won my next two, it wouldn't be so bad if you didn't have to play against the R1 triangle brigade.

Tell me about it. I played a ten game Season yesterday and in those ten games i played PSG 4 times, Arsenal 3 times and Roma 3 times. Of those ten opponents it would be safe to say that eight of them were R1 triangle abusers, it is so F***ing annoying. I refuse to play that way, i will not lower myself to that level, even if it means getting beaten by tossers.

This is the first FIFA i've played online and i can see now why i didn't before.

Not played this in a while. I was pretty pissed when they introduced the price ranges on Ultimate Team like 2 days after I spent 450k on Aguero and about 250k another player. If I had got them when the price ranges came in then they'd have cost me half that.

      Currently rocking this in FUT:

      http://www.futhead.com/15/squads/31381940/

I'd love to have a colourful Aguero or Di Maria or Courtois but it took me long enough finding the in form players i have because everyone decent is extinct from the market.

The shooting of those two is so F***ing sh*t though. Game feels different past couple days. No shots are hitting the target and they both had amazing shooting.

I had MoTM Yaya Toure at 5 million coins, then price ranges came in and he was 1.2m with his cap (sold for 1.1m).

Now every decent player is extinct on the market. Complete F**k up this years version.

      Ouch!

That's some team you have got btw (just checked the link on your latest post). I remember when Lichtsteiner first became in-form, I bought like 10 of him at 60k, sold them all for 160k each.

So dumb now that investing is pointless with the price caps :( Can't make any coins.

I had about 5 or 6 second IF De Gea's when he went for 400k and sold them all for 3m few weeks after TOTY came out. Then lost most of that profit in the price capping fiasco.

crouchy, you seem like a bit of an expert on Fifa. Could you give me some tips please for custom tactics and best formations etc. for Liverpool?

I've tried applying real life tactics and instructions but they seem worthless in a video game scenario. One of main problems is getting barged off the ball, yesterday i had the dwarf Carzola bumping Sakho and Skrtel off the ball! Also i can never seem to win any headers from my goal kicks and opposition goal kicks. Also, when i counter attack my players are way too slow to support.

Any help would be greatly appreciated by myself from you or anyone else on here who has experienceof playing online. I don't play FUT by the way, just online Seasons.

I cured the lobbed pass brigade problem by setting the player switching to air balls only. I use manual switching for the rest.

If you like to play with wingers, use the 4-3-3(5) formation. Has a slightly deeper striker and tough to break down.

I like playing with midfielders and pass through defences so i use the 4-2-2-2 formation.

I always make sure my CDM/s are set to "stay back while attacking". You need to have a strong midfield defence to win games.

If your opposition is a lobbed through-ball whore, go on ultra attacking and high press and run at their defence - they usually are terrible at defending and passing and you go on the front foot against them. In defence you have to take control of a centre back and track their striker so the through ball isn't effective.

I have the same problem being barged off. I'm not sure how to help, especially when it's your striker against a defender.

Regarding being barged around do you guys use L2 (or whatever it is on Xbox) to shield the ball when in possession? It can take a while to get it right but when used properly it's very effective at either cutting off an attacker trying to get on the end of a through ball or protecting the ball from defenders trying to tackle you. Can also be used to great effect if you keep getting chased down and outpaced, if used when through on goal for instance, with a defender behind, you should be able to hold them off despite any lack of pace.

You might find using it at the wrong moment will slow your player down and make them easier to tackle, but get used to when and how to use it and it is very useful. You'll win a lot of freekicks and penalties too.

My main frustration playing online now is the lag. It seems I'm always getting paired with someone that has a slow internet connection and it's almost unbearable to play. You should have to have a minimum bandwidth before it will let you connect to play online.

Thanks artaylor. I use the L2 to shield when i have the ball, i'm fine when i've got the ball, it's when i'm going for a loose ball that the barging is a problem for me.

Same problem mate. Was playing last night and it was so F***ing annoying. When i played a through ball the screen would freeze and then when it cam back in to frame the ball had moved ten yards and i hadn't seen it. It's also annoying when you get a penalty and you press the shoot button and the screen lags and when it kicks back in it's stuck in the yellow and Gerrard ends up on his arse with a John Terry Champions League Final special!

      FIFA 16, Madden 16 & NHL 16 confirmed for release between July-September

All three sports games to release during Q2 FY 2015; NBA Live 16 to follow in Q3.

FIFA 16, Madden NFL 16 and NHL 16 will all launch during Q2 FY 2015, EA has announced.

The release window means that all three games will launch at some point between July, August and September. The games join previously announced Rory McIlroy PGA Tour, which is due to launch on PS4 and Xbox One on July 16.

Further details on the three games have yet to be announced, although FIFA 16 will be the only one to launch on PC as well as console.

NBA Live 16, meanwhile, will launch on console during Q3 FY 2015, pointing to a release between October-December.

      Hi all,

Decided to give FUT a real go after they gave me a decent pack, usually hate starting it up and never used the coins online and all that, can't sell any of them but got a few decent players such as Jovetic, Dos Santos.

Anyway, is the only way to make my CDM's stay back is playing defensive? I currently have Alonso and Strootman as CDM's in a 4-2-3-1 formation and countless times they've been caught out of position, it's really annoying.

      Team is at the moment

Mandana (GK, very good player, cheap too at 350)

Aurier (RB, had him one game, decent but should be higher than 77)
      Varane (CB, beast)
Sakho (CB, another beast, on the game)
Bedimo (LB, don't know how many goals I've conceded down the left with him and Marquinho's before I got Sakho)

      Alonso (stop bombing forward!)
Strootman (his fitness goes down so quickly)

Biabiany (got him in that pack, 96 pace, fair to say I abuse it, a tad)
Eriksen (got him for 150 coins lmao, don't know how)
      Schurrle (haven't played him yet)

Jovetic (scores mostly every game, can't ask for more)

My best tactic though is taking Jovetic or Eriksen off and putting De Jong (PSV) on, scores a header almost every time ;D

      Anybody else's?

Which teams are my fellow Fifa 15 forum members now managing in career mode and what's your team line up?

I find it impossible to manage any other club than our beloved Mighty Reds.

My current team and back ups for a 4-2-3-1 is:

      Ter Stegen / Butland
      De Sciglio
      Vertoghen / Stones
      Laporte / Ginder
      Moreno / Robertson
      Kovacic / Tielmans
      Schneiderlin / Can
      Sterling / Markovic
      Werner / Depay
      Coutinho / Meyer
      Batshuayi / Mitrovic / Poulson / Vietto
I'm still in season 1 so haven't got rid of many, thought I was going to sell Sturridge but he rejected Wolfsburg

Subasic (wanted Leno, too much though)

Danillo (pretty rubbish on the game tbh)
      Skrtel
      Sakho
      Moreno

Camacho (great on the game, would love him to join in real life as well)
      Henderson
Sergi Roberto (great player, got him on loan, does a good job)

      Coutinho (alternates with Lallana)
Dybala (was being kept out by Balo, bench player, Sturridge is injured for four months, completely realistic isn't)
      Markovic (alternates with Munir)

Don't know why I don't play Sterling, even before his real life contract fiasco I wasn't playing him much)

No one else apart from some rubbish rated Spaniards I got on loan on deadline day, played one once in a League Cup game, called Cotan (think he was 64), was MOTM.

Feel free to add me on PS4 for a game, ID is YodaLikesSoda (I was stuck at the time, ok).

I mainly play Pro Clubs, love the banter, miss Team Play from Fifa 13 badly though, that was great fun, they have to fund the cash cow somehow though

I should have room, I've got 1986 spaces left in my friends list.
