Liverpool vs West Brom: Saturday 15:00 BST

      Liverpool vs West Bromich Albion

After an improved performance against the blue sh*te just last Saturday, this coming Saturday sees us as the host of yet another PL fixture. Although a simple victory would first appear most likely, we have to take into account a few factors which are proving problematic right now. Form is one of them, but the CL game midweek in Switzerland will not contribute to any performance the men in red will be looking to achieve this weekend.

With that said, there is simply no excuse. The club have really emphasised on improving the squad depth so that we can withstand the rigours of two important fixtures days apart from each other.

Anything less than a victory will be unacceptable. We are Liverpool, and we must play like the Liverpool that were once associated with the greats of Shankly, Paisley, and Dalglish.

This is the perfect opportunity for the redmen to redeem themselves, but they are not in this alone. Anfield needs to be electric come Saturday. The boys need your support more than ever now.

Prediction is my expectation of such a club: Liverpool 3-0 West Brom (Sturridge x2, Lallana).

Good to have a game soon after, hopefully we'll have Sturridge on the bench for this.

West Brom have won their last 3 league and cup games including away at Spurs but nothing less that a good performance and 3 points is needed here.

Would play Borini alongside Mario or Lambert and hope that Markovic doesn't start as he's currently way off for me.

Indeed. I do not want to see us doing a Newcastle. I do not want to see us in the bottom half of the table. Must improve instantly.

I would drop Mario and have Borini as the lone striker if Rodgers again goes for single striker. No need to start Studge and let him come after 75 mins. Markovic needs to be dropped to bench.

I'd play Fabio for the mobility and movement, with Rickie adding some randomness to our attack.

Hard game coming up I feel. WBA will sense our fragility and go for it. HOPEFULLY we'll be up for it. If not, then I'd be all for players losing their salaries. Hit 'em where it hurts most...

I would drop Markovic and Balotelli for this one. Hopefully Sturridge is fit to start.

talk about sticking pins in your dick that is painful to see and just a timely reminder of what we have lost.
Can't believe we are going into a home game against West Brom with a degree of fear.

3 5 2 for me. Sterling rested before we kill the kid

                   Mignolet

           Skrtel Gerrard Lovern

      Hendo Lucas Lallana Suso Moreno

                Lambert Sturridge

Get them 2 wing backs to the endline and get crosses in that box have Lallana getting in there to support the front 2. You may laugh at Stevie being there but I bet if he did we'd have a clean sheet. And he'd create a sh*tload of heaaches for WBA with long balls out of the back falling at the feet of Sturridge who must play to give us that movement we lack

I am not laughing mate if he needs to play deep let him play deep as the two CB's have been poor for most of last season as well as this.

Normally, I would be really looking forward to this game as we would win again (mighty) WBA.

My heart will always say LFC to win but this time I am praying that we come away with at least a draw. I know we are at Anfield but we are really sh*te this season and I don't see any evidence of that changing. I would be happy with a WBA own-goal to give us win.

We have been sh*te so far and BR has not changed much. Let us see what he changes for this game to go our way - either the starting 11 or subs.

Not looking forward to this one. WBA are in good form.

Last time we looked good Sterling was in the "hole" put the lad in there again behind two strikers either Borini or Mario or Sturridge/Mario.

      We need to win this.

When the F**k is Flanagan going to be fit?

The following players need to be dropped:

      Manquillo, Markovic, Ballotelli

      Sterling needs a rest

      Leaving us with:

                        Migs
Lovren   Skrtel   Moreno - We can't defend so why bother playing 4 of them?

             Hendo  Gerrard Allen

          Lallana  Coutinio  Borini
                      Lambert

I have to say I'm not looking forward to this at all.

They looked quite handy at the weekend and we are utter dog sh*t at the minute.

      Big game.

what we need is 11 men out there who understand what is needed and that is to put themselves on the line for the club.
I see far to much indifference in the team and when you see about 7 Liverpool players in the box defending a corner flat footed and being bullied you want to bi*ch slap some of them. This team is crying out for a new Jamie .

      West Brom

      At home.

You're saying this about West Bromich Albion....   At Anfield....  And I'm totally agreeing with you.

They'll be well up for this.  We'll look like we want to be following Sakho out the door after 5 minutes.

Can't believe people saying Sterling needs a rest. FFS the lad is 19. 19 years of age and a top athlete! He should be able to play two games a week a piece of piss. Seriously, players these days are mollycoddled beyond belief. He had a sh*t game because he was sh*t. Not because he's tired.
