Allen, Can and Sturridge got injured on International duty, not really the clubs fault.

I know, they seem fragile in the first place though, alwats fear we'll have bad luck with injuries when looking forward to a new season, this has been a terrible one.

You can be almost guaranteed it will be something like this,
with some interchanging between the 3 behind Mario.

Subs: Jones, Toure, Enrique, Lucas, Markovic, Borini, Lambert

That's every fit player in the first team squad.

They looked quite handy at the weekend and we are utter dog sh*t at the minute.

I'm sure that will be the team but I personally would have Lucas in there instead of Gerrard. Just don't think he is upto playing 2 games a week.

Why on earth are people advocating that we stick Balotelli up front on his own, is it because he's been scoring for fun and its been making us such apotent attack force. We have to go back to 4-4-2 or at least play with 2 strikers even if the second one is Borini or Lambert. Balotelli is not and never will be a lone striker, far to static to do that role.
Also with all these injuries can't Stevie please please be the next one injured because I now realise that that's the only way he'll ever be dropped from the team, he certainly won't offer it himself and Brendan doesn't have the cajones to do it.

We quite simply have to win this game, and to do that we need to start scoring some bloody goals, that comes from having a solid defence and a midfield that can help the strikers.

When citeh and chelski even manure on the offensive they have 3 or 4 players in the opposition box and we only have 1. What is BR really thinking, I just can't figure out. Are we trying to play the game too tidy to the extend it hurt us defensively and offensively? I feel more like the coaches are to be blamed.

      It's not advocating.
It's saying what is the most likely team.
Rodger's will most likely play Balotelli up front.

Big difference between that and wanting Lambert to have a start.

Whatever XI steps out onto that field tomorrow has to win, home game against WBA when in this position is inexcusable to drop any points.

I honestly don't care how we get the 3 points, we simply cannot afford to fall any further behind.

Don't care about the formation or the players just go out be aggressive, work your bollox off and get the win....fight for every ball, leave nothing on the pitch when the final whistle goes, win every first ball if you cant fight for every second ball, get in their faces make them hate you, get the crowd up, get mad.....YOU ARE LIVING OUR F***ing DREAM SO PLAY HOW WE WOULD IF WE WERE GOOD ENOUGH AND HAD THE CHANCE....PASSION AND PRIDE.

      Question :

      Borini   Balotelli    Lambert.

Would any of those really scare you if you were a Baggie?

I would like the manager to try something fresh, as nothing is working now and the last heat map for Balotelli in the last game is worrying.

Switch to the 4-4-2 Diamond with following players for one Half and see how it goes:

the AM position is the most important which should force the strikers to be near or inside the box.

I missed the mid-week game (didn't miss much by the sounds of it), but it's about f***ing time we got arses in gear. Home to West Brom is a perfect opportunity, we need the 3 points, we need a convincing win to get the confidence back up and we need to get the team playing together.

Anything, just 3 points please and at least look half-assed.

                                                 Mignolet
                            Manquillo    Skrtel   Lovren   Moreno
                                                  Gerrard
                                         Henderson   Coutinho
                                                  Lallana
                                        Sterling        Balotelli

Jones; Toure, Enrique; Lucas; Markovic, Borini, Lambert

      4-2-3-1 just is a nightmare for us, double-pivot of Gerrard-Henderson is just a no-no

Even if we've been sh*t, I still think this should be 3 pts.

      1-0, or 2-0 I think.

You'd hope the poor performance in Basel would spur the players on vs West Brom. SG calling the team 'soft'. BR getting some digs in during media sessions. BR will be unleashing raging animals come kickoff :)
Well, maybe. A better performance would be great, but tbh the 3 points is most important - a scrappy 2-1 would do.

4-4-2 diamond for me: Mignolet; Manquillo, Skrtel, Lovren, Moreno; Gerrard, Henderson, Lallana, Coutinho; Borini, Lambert.

Hate to say any game is a "must-win" but 3 points here would be a good boost to our confidence.

Game on here at 12 midnight. Have to be at work at 7am. Daylight savings starts tonight so clock has to go forward an hour, meaning by the time the game finishes at 2am which will actually be 3am here, will end up getting 3 hours sleep as then have to be up by 6am to get to work in time.

Seriously thinking about sleeping through this one as I would be rat sh*t for work, coupled with the fact that we are playing sh*t and I'm not confident about this game, makes me wanna just stay in bed even more!

Ahh F**k it I'll watch it and just go to work totally fu**ed up but hopefully happy we got the 3 points. 2-1 to us lads.

A win very important today, after the poor mid week performance, giving the side a boost and moving them up in the table. Gone for a 2 -1 win in the Prediction League. Here's hoping for a decent result at last!

A clean sheet for us and a goal or two would be just the tonic.

      Our season starts here.

'Guardian' reporting that Lambert is starting and Baloteli is dropped. It would be funny because we had the quickest strike force last season, and probably the slowest if Lambert is starting.
