For me Norwich City simply because I live there .

For me it would probably have to be Arsenal. Why? Because I live in London and Arsenal are the only team I remotely like in this city. Chelsea and Spurs can go and do one. Two despicable clubs with gobs***e fans.

I think it can be admired how Arsenal have progressed as a club since Wenger has taken charge. He's a nice genuine person as well and is far more pleasant than that arrogant tw*t south of the river.

But of course, I do take pleasure in Arsenal dropping points because I do not support them

Thats the problem, I know more Chelsea fans than Arsenal fans and boy are they cocky fuckers. Maybe if i knew more Arsenal fans then my opinion on them would change.

To be honest, if I really had to support another team it'd be Dortmund. Their fans are class. Hugely outnumbered the Bayern fans in London a couple of years ago in CL final and painted the town black and yellow. Bayern fans lack character.

Arsenal have more dignity than Tottenham or Chelsea though. Genuinely cannot stand the latter two. Chelsea were days away from heading into administration, only then to be rescued by a corrupt Russian billionaire who instantly transformed them into a superpower. Before that, Chelsea fans were actually tolerable.

But there is a thought. Americans like to compete with the Russians when it comes to dominance. Hopefully J.Henry will dust off his wallet sometime soon and transform us back into the superpower we once were.

The most popular anwser would be Everton. Simply as the highest percentage of people from here are from liverpool, and if Liverpool never existed in the first place, they'd support the other local team, Everton.

Can't even fathom supporting another English side! I do quite like Benfica, Roma, and Valencia. I even like Napoli, but that is mostly because I still love Rafa!

In my group of friends Everton, Arsenal and Spurs are supported and all have good support over here as well I think Orchard especially in people around my age. Smaller than the amount who support us and the mancs though.

even the other day after the manutd win over everton.  he was telling me that manutd is finally playing better and Liverpool still needs to find their form.  I told him.  Dad i love you, it is your bday so happy bday. but as bad as Liverpool has been playing lately, we are 1 little point behind manutd that is occupying 4th and yes we did lose to basel in CL.. but it is a tournament manutd isn't even part of.

I support Liverpool because my dad has since the 40's, and as soon as I could talk he had me saying the names of the players - so I will have to ask him who he would have supported I guess.

I'd probably be a Dortmund or Atletico Madrid fan, although not to the same extent as now.
I'd still be more of a motorsport fan. Only really got into football because of liverpool.
So, in this alternate reality, I'd have a Dortmund and Atletico jersey but not really follow football.

Probably Newcastle United as my Nannas late husband was a huge Newcastle fan and he didn't have a bad bone in his body.

I think football probably would have ceased to exist if liverpool didn't, or ought to have. We'd probably be talking sh*t about cricket.

Without LFC I wouldn't have been drawn to this game in the first place; I would most likely still be half-concentrating on sox games (however close to my heart may they be).

I would support my local team, as Liverpool did not exist, that would be by default Everton.

Not the bitters but Everton, as "the Bitters" would not exist.

Sorry, without Liverpool, Id just have played myself on Saturdays for a lot longer, as well as Sundays. The rest of my spare time I would have gone fishing. There isn't another club I can get remotely excited about i'm afraid.
