Still think it has more to do with him and Brendan having a falling out than it did wages myself.

Clash of egos perhaps  AZ ?

Still ... Pepe was on big bucks  as was the likes of Cole.   The latter being farcical.

So what is the situation for QPR?  Lovren is out injured?  that means Skrtel is going to be paired with.... Toure?!

With Lovren back in training that nightmare scenario will hopefully be avoided.

Whatever combination we go for I would 100% expect us to keep a clean sheet against them. If we don't then I think we really do have some serious issues.

      Yep.

Still think we'll beat them though.

For me we have to go back to the diamond but with Sterling playing as a striker. We lost our flair when Suarez left but we have that pace and flair in Raheem. We have Coutinho or Lallana to play at the tip of the diamond. Allen and Can are now fit so we have to make the most of them. Here's my problem with the defence, Ballotelli needs a partner and by him playing as a lone striker he has to have more help in attack from the midfield, hence why Stevie has been pushed further forward, the problem is our whole midfield is pushed forward and our 2 deep lying playmakers or cdm,s (whatever you want to call them) are then exposing our defence. I thought that playing 2 in midfield was to protect the back 4.
