No need to chump about it c**t, either.

But just to clarify, you were pointing out the bleeding obvious?  Want to be sure, don't want to offend your delicate sensibilities again.

I don't think 'obvious' exists on these boards.

      Enjoy the game mate.

It's funny but as the game is getting closer I'm slowly getting more confident (think we might only get beat 1-0!).

      Maybe it's because I'm f**king stupid.

Hopefully by 8pm tomorrow your confidence will be saying we'll win JD  ;)

I don't think it'll be as one sided as some people are expecting/hoping for.

The thing is, yesterday I was extremely doubtful whereas today I'm a lot more optimistic so I imagine by this time tomorrow I'll be at my most extremely optimistic having thought about it more throughout tomorrow day.

I think the subtle difference betwixt the two of us is I am definitely F***ing stupid.

I hope not mate Coz we are totally fooked if that's the line-up!

We are big underdogs because we have been playing shi...te all season. It's a tough ask, the crowd will be bang up for it but the team have to give them something to cheer about as well. I'm not particularly confident because I see us playing the same way match after match and I'm not sure the manager can figure out how to change it Until he has all the players back and fit.

It's not my prediction. Just the players with blue bibs from the training pics. It was 10/11 from the pre-QPR training pics. Only Lambert for Balotelli was wrong....

Kicking in now. Get tomorrow out of the way, it'll drag!!

Don't want to sound like a superfan but the more I think of this game the more I see us winning. I think we have a team who know they need to stand up and be counted that they have just not been good enough this season. And I think they will get it right tomorrow against the European champions

Any player who doesn't give 100% tomorrow should not be at the club. Any fan who cant for 90 minutes roar on there tam should not attend Anfield again.

      Expect, demand, deliver

      Well, it's nearly here...
Liverpool vs. Real Madrid ... just wanted to type it out :)
Plenty at stake, huge glamour tie, us as underdogs.
Just waiting for the script to be written.
      On form, maybe Madrid favorites.
But ANYTHING can happen, passions will be high (or better be :) ), atmosphere should be electric.

Great watching that 4-0 clip, if we had a Torres or a Luis, would be more confident, but we don't so BR needs to work his magic. Talk of Sterling up front, with Lallana and Coutinho supporting - and though I'm fairly conventional and like a recognised striker to be up there - maybe on a night like this, when you want our tempo to be sky high, not give Madrid an inch, get the fans pumped, would not be surprised if BR went that way.

Anyway, whatever the players selected, it's two clubs with a massive European history going head to head it Europe's best club competition. When we aimed for top4 last year, it was for nights like this we worked hard for. So am gonna enjoy it and let the chips fall where they may....
      CMON YOU REDMEN !!!!!!! :)

We really need to make Anfield a fortress tomorrow night.....none of this waiting for the players to entertain us crap, we need to put the willies up Madrid and have one of those very special European nights that Liverpool Football Club is famous for...let's get Anfield buzzing well before kick off and support ALL the players that Brendan chooses to play on the night...the slagging off should be done in the pubs afterwards, not in the stands on match night....I'm lucky enough to have a ticket for the match and won't be happy unless I come out the ground hoarse....come on reds lets give the lads a massive hand and be that 12th man tomorrow night.

Mega excited for this.....come on you mighty REDMEN  :kop5cf8koxp6:

Just for perspective and a sense of where we are in comparison I thought to myself how I think we'd fair against these with Luis and Studge in the line-up and I think we'd win by a couple of goals.

Afraid if I'm being brutally honest and speaking as unbiased as I can be I expect Real to win comfortably 3-0 or 4-0. That f**king c**t Ronaldo doing his arsehole celebrations.

My heart of course is telling me it's football, there's always a chance etc, etc but no, our performance levels have been such that unless Madrid are complacent I can't see us handling them. If Johnson/Skrtel start on the right of our defence then we're asking for a disaster.

What's happened to our fan base after a couple of admittedly poor performances but where we still won we have as many people predicting a loss as a win.

Must be so painful watching LFC at the moment spare yourself the torture!

I understand your fears mate, but just think.... we are at home, we will rise to the occasion, we surely can't play as badly as we did against QPR and while Ronaldo may have scored 19 goals this season his record against Liverpool is piss poor (only 2 goals including a penalty). Admittedly I don't think Ronaldo has been up against Johnson for us before, but maybe that's a good thing as he won't know just how bad Johnson can be :)

I never bet against my beloved club, but tomorrows game would be as good as any.

I just cant see who will step up to get us three points. The best I can hope for is a Chelsea style park the bus game with no space behind us and look to get a shot or 2 on the counter. Its not the way I want to see us play, but realistically just don't see any other way of beating them without a proven goalscorer on the pitch.

      I hope I'm wrong.

That's my biggest worry too mate, but hopefully someone WILL step up. Freekick, corner, own goal, penalty .... any would do!
