Usually look forward to Liverpool matches,  but I'm fearful about this one,  especially how they embarrassed us last season 3-1away.  Still think we'll get the win though 2-0

Just get the 3 points and hopefully get some momentum going.

Let's hope so mate. I'd happily take a 1-0 win - 3 points and a clean sheet is just what they need.

Course it won't happen like this mind, we will no doubt make a hash of it and scrape a 4-3 win.

I'm up at Anfield again for the match tomorrow, would like to see a front two of Borini and Lambert, reckon they can't do any worse than what we've got already, 3 points is a must and we should have enough in our locker to beat Hull, although I'm not taking anything for granted...
      My prediction = 2-0

By the way its a 3pm kick off not 2pm.

Has been for a long time Cas. I was hoping that playing against Madrid would make him really up his game but if anything I think it just emphasised how bad he is, I winced every time Ronaldo went at him. I genuinely think he'd even struggle to make an impact in the Championship.

Gerrard needs to sit this game. Since the start of this season he has been guilty of ball watching. I have re watched the Madrid and QPR games and anyone who does not see this issue is not being impartial; and I understand why most would be as Gerrard is a legend.

Rumour is that Manquillo's coming in for GJ and Borini for Mario.

3 pts please and I'm not really bothered how we get them.

And so say all of us, it is imperative that we get 3 points.

Rumours on twitter that Borini will start.

Apparently photos of him wearing the same coloured bibs as the other likely starters.

Of course it won't happen the way we want it mate. Probably 5-4 knowing our luck. The Heart will take another battering tonight. Am sure of it.

I'd play both Borini and Manquillo so I wholeheartedly agree with the boss if that is the case.

I think this is a game we should win comfortably.

                                      Mignolet

      Manquillo        Toure          Lovren        Moreno

                                Gerrard

           Henderson                   Allen

                            Coutinho

       Sterling                          Lallana

Can't be any worse playing with no striker than with the options we have at the moment. I think Toure and Lovren may work better than Skrtel and Lovren.

Going for 3-1 .... sick of predicting a clean sheet now.

                                 Mignolet
      Manquillo---Skrtle----Lovren---Moreno
                                 Gerrard
                    Henderson-Lallana/Can
                                 Coutinho
                    Balotelli---------Sterling
Balotelli has to put a shift in to gain some love back and then he'll start scoring!

Balotelli has to play and he should be paired up with Borini more so than Lambert, but if it's Lambert then so be it.
Sterling won't work as the most forward player, he needs space to manipulate.

Was at the corresponding fixture last season and we won 2-0. Should have been by more too. Don't forget they did beat us at their own ground last season though.

Not going to be as easy as people think but I reckon we'll get the victory from this one. Hoping Borini is given a chance here too.

So many team selections on here today.
I agree Balo and Johnson should be benched at least.
Lovren Stkrtel doesn't seem to be working but we short on options due to injuries. They likely to start, just hope it's with Manquillo and Moreno.
Stevie should be given a rest or moved forward where he can do more damage. Only prob with dropping him, is where does the leadership come from?
Countinho starting to show some form so should start, While Hendo needs to focus on his task and stop running round like a headless chicken. Think he's trying to do too much due to others around him being so poor. He'll be burnt out before Jan at this rate, never mind Sterling. Who as it happens, looks like our only quality player at the mo.
We will need the hard hats on today, waiting for the bombs to drop in our 6 yard area. Fat head knows we are vulnerable to high balls in the box.
Think our defenders need to concentrate on the flight of the ball, and stop the F***ing wrestling.
Can't really predict a starting 11, due to Brendan's superior knowledge I'm sure Balo and Johnson will start, and I'd never have predicted that from their recent form.
Just need to grind out a win any way we can, and hope things may change when studge gets back.
I've gone for 2:0 to us, but God only knows why !

Lallana and Coutinho must start,  we need to get our passing game sorted,  and they look most likely to get it back on track. I'd still stick with Mario and hope he gets a couple to bring his confidence up.
