Don't see anything wrong with them two starting at all.

Can't believe BR has dropped his love child Johnson, must have been a full moon last night! Coutinho should be starting, been our best player over the last two games and our biggest goal threat.

I don't think either of them is particularly mobile and our midfield lacks energy and trickery, it's far too safe.

I even wondered if we might play a diamond and put Sterling up top with Balotelli but I imagine Henderson would have kept his place if that was the plan

Well with Hendo and Coutinho both benched, we've lost our energy in the middle of the park, and our most technically gifted player also.
Can only imagine Brendan is going to try and match fat head, and go route 1.
And god help us when they start bombing out two centre backs.
Also, how many chances will Balo need before he gets one on target today.
Beginning to think our manager has had a breakdown of some sort. Hope he proves me wrong, but this side has just removed any optimism I previously managed to muster.
Our fate is in the hands of the footballing gods I think.

was searching for hendo on the pitch, then saw the starting lineup, the man has truly f**king lost it

hendo is our engine, and coutinho looked sharp vs real, the only one who tried something, but brendan hits his confidence again by benching him, balotelli seems like an immovable object, i wonder what lambert thinks, brendan is taking the piss on borini and lambert, if they cant get a match with balotelli in this form, when ?

The signs of a poor manager, in any profession, is when he can't accept he has made a mistake.
In football, there's an old philosophy, always field your form players, unless they are injured.
Brendan has obviously buried his head, or he's a poor manager.
