Not going to post the obvious formation without SG,Lovren, and GJ. We know what will happen. Lovren will be  falling on his arse trying to clear the vall, Gerrard wandering all over the pitch to let the opposition run at our defense as they like.

(off topic but) I still remember from the top of my head the lineup for the 1989 FA Cup final, the first "classic" game I ever watched, after finding it to download on the internet ages ago.

mings has been awfull for us and i think he's one of the main reasons we have such a shaky defence, he doesnt inspire any confidence in our defenders

Play negative and defend in numbers and make sure we don't lose the game.

Mario/Rickie/Borini - I'd go with Mario - his face is starting to annoy me ... says more about what I think of Rickie's control and Fabio's ability. They're so bad at the moment can't see BR going 2 up top.
SG - looked a bit laboured vs. Palace - would 'resting' him spur on the others. Don't know, but I am willing to try anything.
Would also consider resting Sterling. Start Can. Maybe...

I don't see why Borini should be abywhere near the bench let alone the starting 11.

He is a dreadful player technically. He works hard and that can be useful in the box but it surprises me he made it to that level with such a poor touch.

I like this XI. Maybe Lambert over Borini after his goal on the weekend. But I have a feeling it'll be the same old.
