so will the main stand and anfield road both be completed by 16/17?

      Main stand only for now.

Anfield Road is what is being described as second phase.

I've heard that us finishing 6th will now impact our expansion plans because we will have to start playing again in July?

All depends on whether Villa win the FA Cup or not. We will either be starting the Europa in September or July unless I am mistaken.

      Hospitality? Not very hospitable....

      From @jaytothelo on twitter

£25,000 a season for boardroom lounge in 3,5 or 7 years with 7 years already sold out. Other hospitality from £5,500 - £14,000 a season also on 3 5 or 7 year allotments.

Anyone fancy coming to ours for Sunday dinner? It's JUST £350! a seat, the little un may piss on you but it all adds to the experience.

If we want to compete financially we have to make money somehow. I bet the other big clubs don't do any hospitality sales?

      Are you F***ing kidding?
Corporate and Hospitality is one of the biggest earners in the game as far as stadium income goes.
      It's unfortunate, but true.
They can charge huge amounts for relatively little space.

Should have added the tongue in cheek smiley as I was being sarcastic and my point was that we can't expect to compete if we aren't doing what other clubs are doing commercially.

      Agreed, really good work.

Nice to see the pitch being replaced, I know Brendan had genuine issues with it last season so hopefully this year it will be up to scratch.

Quite a few large ones, phone users beware!

Not sure of the time line on some of them, as some may be prior to the Palace game.

I was coming home today from work, driving past Woodison as normal.

That yellow crane is F***ing ginormous! Even from the wrong side of Stanley Park it towers in to the sky!

I have a question you might be able to answer RP. I did posy about it ages ago and not sure if anyone knew then or I just missed it.

The Anfield Rd end is another stand that we could expand and do you know if the club owns the land behind the stand on the other side of the road?

The road itself doesn't really go anywhere when it runs behind the stand and would it be possible to close it and build out?

I've had a look at the proposed plans, and I thought Anfield Rd, was going to be moved, but they don't show it anywhere, so I'm guessing the road may be lost.

I think the Club does own the land beyond the road as the houses have been demolished and have car parks/fan parks on it.

I have read on other sites, that FSG are considering binning this extension, as the costs involved are not worth the extra 4,000 seats.

Just looking at that picture you would think there is space to build a stand similar in size to the Kop but obviously there is more to it than that.

The problem is, and always will be, the transport infrastructure.

Without huge investment by the council, the roads would not cope with the extra fans. There is an rail link, but no station.

      Just not going to happen.
