Looking at his image, it is noticeable that:

1, There is going to be an awful lot of space for VIP's to swill Champagne and much on pawn butties.
2, You will need high powered binoculars to see the pitch from the back of the stand.

The VIP sh*t is what we can expect from the baseball corporation.
But what disapponts me is  that the VIPs are to the exclusion of the lifeblood ie locals and working class supporters.

Its very concerning that Shamway are being very evasive about any committment to rebuilding the rubbishey looking Annie Rd end. And have shown no interest whatsoever in rebuilding the Kop.

I quite like the idea of a tall high stand. Atleast it does announce some level of status (Albeit the same level of Newcastle, if we arent going to see improvements in the rest of the ground).

One thing that really saddens me is that they've talked about the stand paying itself back over 7 yrs. In other words, no enhanced income for 7 yrs.

Which is basically telling the fans to go f**k themselves for another 7 yrs. By which time, Shamway will be long gone and trousered an obscene, unconscionable amount of money off the fans.

All joking aide FL that looks like a great view for an NFL game. I can see how you could really get to see the plays develop.

Some people are never happy. Would you rather there was no expansion at all?

Ofcourse not. As you can see in the post, I'm saying the exact opposite.

I want a FULL expansion ie beyond just the corporate main stand.

And secondly, I want to see the team STRENGTHENED in the immediate term.
Rather than have the new stand used as an excuse for not investing in the team.

Sadly, it looks Fenway want to do the latter.

And a lot of the blame for the above goes to our owners 25 years ago, when the expansion should have been done and, in the present, the current council and the limitations they have imposed on the expansion.

I sat not quite that high in that stadium about 3 years ago Si, you end up watching the 60 yard wide 6 story video board as opposed to the field.
The only other game I saw there we sat about 13 rows from the field in that same corner and it was much better. If you are in the 300 or 400 (where that picture was taken) section the players a VERY small.

This from the Liverpool official tour site makes me believe that the existing lower tier both internally and externally are going to be changed this summer not next.

Due to the exciting developments that are taking place to expand the Main Stand, this is your last chance to see the original dressing rooms, player's tunnel and Manager's dug out before the current Stadium Tour ends on Sunday 17th May 2015.

      Aren't they moving the tunnel?

      Quote
Yes - I assume the tunnel will move as well this summer. Gerrard will be last captain to lead liverpool out the old tunnel. Quite fitting actually.

Don't bother with the Nou Camp then either.

You won't find that big screen there and if you are sat at the very top for 65 Euro a ticket you wil be lucky to make out the teams and who is who.

I've heard that us finishing 6th will now impact our expansion plans because we will have to start playing again in July?
