The top part looks like it was made with material nicked from the table-cloth of a 1970s guest house.

The other issue is that our Warrior kit deal didn't seem to stack up vs some of the others in terms of revenue.

Thinking back to when Hicks did a deal with his stadium mate in Texas, and did an  invoicing fiddle..
Warrior, a Boston company looked remarkably like the above ie sh*t for the football club, very good for the other party.

I can't stand Warrior and New Balance is going to be even worse. Can't we get a proper outfit to make our kits please?

Nike, Adidas or Puma, heck even Under Armour would be better than what we have now.

This was totally a deal that Fenway cooked up with their backyard brand. They probably didn't even shop us to Nike once Adidas dropped us.

Doesn't particularly bother me what the brand is. The look of the top is important though.

How about a proper footy sponsor? When I play footy on Sundays, I wear Joma boots that are decent quality and price.

      I like it.

New balance logo looks great and it's the kind of top you can wear with jeans as well as looking good on the pitch.

Could certainly be far worse - got the mince pies in early this year so one of those skintight Arsenal efforts would be disastrous! :)

      It's fake.
The collar is supposed to be a mock collar not an actual collar
and no jersey uses labels at the neck anymore, they all have
      printed details.

This is just fake merchandise made from the Fumbler template.

      Anyway, it could be worse.

Kolo, a Warrior Football boot wearer, had NB blackouts on last night.

I noticed that Nasri and Kompany were wearing NB as well. Nasri the white and Kompany the black ones like Kolo.

Already nicer than anything Warrior did,
but I quite like the look of Markovic's red Mizunos,
      so I'll probably get those.

I've just changed the image. Had the print logo version rather than the better quality pair, which is up now.
Not sure on the new Nike boots. Big fan of the Tiempo. Probably showing my age.

The Tiempos are nice, like the new model better than some of the past models. Especially the new colorways.

Warrior which has been majority owned by New Balance since 2004 initially focussed on American sports clothing before entering the football market with a deal with Liverpool Football Club in 2004.  The £80M 4 year deal was a significant increase at the time for LFC as Warrior planned to make a big splash in the sport.

However, as rumoured for some time, parent company New Balance have confirmed that they would be taking over in a rebrand for the American company.

New Balance is primarily known for its athletic wear - around 30,000 pairs of running shoes are made each week at their factory in the north of England.

Richard Wright of New Balance said:

“Liverpool FC is one of the most successful and decorated clubs in world football and we’re delighted to partner with the club. The sponsorship represents an important step for New Balance launching into football and reflects the global growth ambitions of the brand. Over the course of the contract New Balance will bring innovation and world class product to Liverpool FC and its global fan base.”

I'm really not looking forward to seeing what rubbish they manufacture next. It's as though they just ask a bunch of 5 year olds to doodle on a piece of paper then use that for the kit design. One manufacturer that I'd have preferred is Macron - of all brands. I doubt they'd pay anything close to 20-25m per year though. They've been producing some really nice kits though.
