      "New Record Deal"

Translation: We signed off the original deal in dollars, which is stronger now, so we'll pretend this deal is worth more.

An amount of moola would be quaint.

Yeah, what's "New" about it anyway? It's just a re-branding exercise and a continuation of the original 6yr deal - isn't it? The only difference (apart from name) as far as I can see, is that there will be NB merchandise available throughout LFC's outlets. Presumably, LFC will get a percentage of those sales?

the White one looks quite retro to me, harking back to the Hitachi and Crown era's !

      1:34 Liverpool seal kit deal

      Football

Liverpool have agreed the biggest kit supplier deal in their history with American sportswear manufacturer New Balance.
In 2012 Liverpool signed a six-year deal worth £25m a season with Warrior Sports, whose parent company is New Balance.
Their kits will be made by New Balance from next season onwards in a deal reportedly worth up to £300 million.

This according to BBC. Would be interesting to see how long the new deal is for.

No LFC players signed-up then ???

Aaron Ramsey, Adnan Januzaj, Vincent Kompany, Samir Nasri, Marouane Fellaini, Tim Cahill, Alvaro Negredo, Jesus Navas, Fernando Reges and Nikica Jelavic.
      http://www.newbalance.com/men/featured/soccer%2Ffootball/

Vincent Kompany said: “From the beginning, New Balance has impressed me. I’ve spent a lot of time with the whole team and they’ve really listened to the insights I’ve been able to give on playing at the top level. Their passion and enthusiasm to make a difference is infectious and I can’t wait to see people’s reactions to what New Balance is going to do in Football. I believe this brand could be a real game-changer in the market.”

Their footy boots look a bit naff.

Thought I saw Kolo wearing the NB boots awhile back.

Their boots actually don't look too bad compared to Warrior.

If those mock ups are anything close to the real deal then I guess I'll be going yet another year without buying a top.

Amazed that Nike didn't come in with a big offer considering they've lost Arsenal and are going to lose United from next season.

Looks like we are stuck with this sh*te for the foreseeable then.

Nike deals, I believe are not that good. I know the BS got well and truly shafted. I think City did not get that good a deal either.

      Indeed.

I'm pretty sure every year the ones that first appear are the final kits.

This deal means nothing until the financials/length of contract are known, if it's £300m over 10 years then it's a bit better than the SC deal but not by much in the scheme of it an extra £5m a year is nothing and in 9 years in the final year of the contract when players will probably be changing hands for a quarter of a million what are we going to do with £30m? It wouldn't even pay Messi for two years let alone sign someone of that ilk.

We need to start farming out all the sh*t, separate sponsors for first team kits, training kits, youth kits, the tea ladys apron, the lot of it.

Hence the reason they're now the proud makers of Team Owls sh*te 'attire'.

      The FA, amazing.
