Man Utd vs Liverpool -14 December.

Before this game last season, we were dreaming about how many goals we will score against them. Now most of us are thinking will we able to score ?
United are in good form, however they aren't creating many chances. But have plenty of goals in them. Di Maria is still out and it will be a huge bonus.

Regarding the team, don't know about Toure's fitness. If fit he has to start. Lucas and Gerrard are must. But who will play upfront?  . Lambert is playing like he is rooted to the pitch. And BR is not fancying Borini. So may be Sterling/Markovic upfront? Or even Skrtel upfront ? Continuing from last game? He looked more threatening than Balotelli for sure.

Don't know where to start with this......hate this fixture at the best of times!

Currently two average teams with sh*te defences but lets face it, United carry far more threat attacking wise.

Sign of the times but I think Markovic has to start after that 15 minute cameo, which says it all really. Difficult to pick eleven players at the moment, just hope Brendan picks an attacking team and we don't sit deep and invite pressure.

This is a game where we won't have to break United so in some ways suits us better. Having said that not sure where the goals are going to come from at the moment!
I would set us up to counter them and so we need pace on the break, Raheem, Markovic and Coutinho to play. Up front haven't got a clue as Borini won't be picked but I wouldn't bother with Lambett for this one.

He will not start him as a striker for sure. I said if we are chasing a goal he might move Skrtel upfront. He did it last game. That means there is some training session going on to improve crossing and Hoofing.

We were down to 10 men with barely any attacking options, Skrtel was fresher than the others rest were off their feet, it was just last resort desperation tactics. Hopefully we won't have to resort to that again.

They have great attacking talent but absolutely shocking defence. We have to play for counter attack, that means quick, creative midfielders. If we copncede early, we're screwed, but if we hold up in the first 20 mins, I reckon we'll frustrate them. Such a shame Studge is injured, this was a perfect game for him to do some real damage.

I would like to see Borini given a chance until January when we might get a better version but it looks like for what ever reason Rodgers has completely shut him out.

I actually wouldn't mind this, but if we have Can and Lucas protecting the back four, there's absolutely no need for Hendo. Play Llalana instead. Much quicker and more creative, and the lad does get stuck in when he needs to.

Bring back Toure, I wouldn't drop Stevie for this fixture. But I'll definitely not start Lambert. What we need against their defence is pace and slick passing. I'm tempted to go with a 3-4-2-1
