Ricky Lambert is crying out to be dropped, but unless Balotelli is fit I'd resist the temptation and play him. Man Utd haven't got any centre halves worthy of the name, and we shouldn't be embarrassed about exploiting it with a big fella and hitting him. If Balotelli is fit, I'd play him (I know).

Rodgers has nothing to lose really he needs to show he is brave with signs we are moving forward and United is a good game to get back some attacking threat to our game because their defence is sh*te.

The clamour for his head is going to be there regardless. Even if we win, unless its by total domination those who want him out aren't going to shut up. They smell blood and will press this while there's a chance the owners will listen. As for Arsenal, they got bullied by Stoke, as they get bullied by Stoke every year, and lost. They always loose if you prevent them playing their game. We don't have near the players available to play like we did last season so the alternative is go full on Rugby team with Lambert up front. I'd be more confident of a win against Arsenal than I am against United.

I'd take a dodgy 1-0 anything that keeps them in their box.They are not a great UTD side and they need to be put under pressure early on as we did every game last season.

He knew we had to beat Basel too.

This is my worry that he sends out a similar set of XI that started the Basel game, if he can't learn from that mistake now he never will. Take the positives from the second half, use them and adapt the tactics to suit and he might just turn things around. If he starts Rickie up top on his own with defensive minded players behind him then I think the writing is pretty much on the wall.

Stuff the midfield and hope for a draw? That might work against The likes of hull and Sunderland but inviting pressure and no outlet is asking for trouble with our fragile defence.

   I am not going to predict any line-ups for this game,,,,, BUT just hope its nowhere near the last one, hoping for atleast 3/4 or even 5 changes , guess no other line-up can do worse

got that right man,grab them for their balls and squeeze from the begining and dont let it go until they concede

Its ok pressing when you have an outlet, pace up front and on the wings and you can pass the ball guys.
