      Burnley vs Liverpool

      Merry Christmas redmen!

Boxing day see's us travel to the mighty Burnley, a team who were, once upon a time, the bookies favourites to return to the Championship. The two sides have met before, most noticeably when Champions League legend and winner Djimi Traore zizou turned the ball into the net (albeit for the wrong side). Burnley at present sit in 18th position with 15 points, whereas Liverpool can boast an extra 7 points in 10th position (safe from any relegation scrap, for now). The last two performances have improved from a statistical point of view, creating more clear cut chances than in most of the previous games; however, the end result remains the same. Despite the lack of wins, the signs of turning a corner is there. Can the redmen finally finish a Premierleague game with three points and a convincing performance? That hasn't been achieved since the rear-ending of Tottenham Hotspurs a few months back; but it's due nonetheless.

      Prediction: Burnley 1-3 Liverpool

Nah, gonna be another hard fought game. I can see us nicking it. I'll go for 2-3. Now that I said that, it'll probably be 0-5 or something like that.

Can't see anything but a win in this game, which is a pleasant change for me. Another attacking display like the gooners game, and we should have too much  for them.
      2-0 Reds!

3 games in a week. Lotsa rotation needed starting with Sterling.

Brendan conceding the 3-4-3 aint Mario's game, so he might be benched for an extended period until Studge is fit and we play a 4-4-2 diamond. Would hv ideally started Borini to give Sterling a breather but feel this is the kinda game we could afford to start Lambert upfront.

I say we play a 4-2-3-1 and go back to 3-4-3 at home vs Swansea

      Jones
      Manquillo-Skrtel-Sakho-Moreno
      Lucas-Can
      Lallana-Coutinho-Markovic
      Lambert

Subs - Mignolet, Lovren, Enrique, Hendo, Stevie, Sterling, Mario

I'll go for a 1-0 win for us, think it will be a hard fought one away the day after Christmas, but we'll just about take the three points, and I'll go for another Skrtel goal, his goals usually come all at once in the space of a few games...

I think this is is where we spark into life. 5-2 to us, the return of the blitzkrieg "we'll score more than you" ethos.

Same team, same formation, same intensity and same attitude but surely a different result than the last few PL games. Would love to see us play them off the park.

      Happy Christmas fellow Reds.
Well I think we must be due to tonk somebody soon, however I said that before we played Sunderland so what do I know.
Think we are slowly waking up for the season, so going for 4-1 to the Redmen.

I don't see it either. I have a feeling he'll be on the bench and get some game time later on.

Nah we'll score at least three. Lazar, Raheem and Lallana.

Yeah, and they'll score 2. I can see this a 2-3 score line.

If we play the same as the last few games then it should be about 3-1 to us I reckon
