Hubble Hi Definition picture of the Andromeda galaxy - perspective.
      Jan 21, 2015 07:35:38 pm
Just for perspective on the futile and destructive actions of some on this beautiful planet we call earth.

The Andromeda Galaxy in our night sky if it were brighter:

I won't post it here as I think JD may tw*t me for blowing up the server, so........

      High def zoomable here:

      http://www.spacetelescope.org/images/heic1502a/zoomable/

Zoom all the way in (be patient) and each of them blue or orange dots is capable of being the equivalent of our sun complete with a solar system like ours.

Then imagine that you're sitting reading this, living on a planet that's rotating around one of those blue or orange dots.

      BOOOOM!!

      ;D

If you're that way inclined you can download different resolutions of the photo here:

      http://hubblesite.org/newscenter/archive/releases/2015/02/image/a/

With the highest available def one being a little under 350mb, a slightly large photo.

We are sand grains in infinity...

We are, the sooner the rest of the human race come to that conclusion the better all our lives and future generations lives will be.

My only wish is I get to see it.

      Uranus.

What is remarkable, is that Earth is the only planet with intelligent life on it.

Hmmm it could be there that there are others out there, or were, but they haven't been able to contact each other or failed to remain around long enough to contact others. The Drake equation covers it pretty well...

The human perspective of 'why haven't they contacted us' is easy to answer by looking at that picture and imagining someone sitting on a couch on a planet surrounding one of them dots typing the same question.

We're still killing each other, enough said.

Swamp gas from a weather balloon was trapped in a thermal pocket and reflected the light from Venus, now if you wouldn't mind looking into this.
