Being from West Ham and still living and working here too, I can say there are lots of excited Hammers actually expecting to end this run on Saturday.

3-1 is my prediction

Sturridge either starting or on the bench will give the crowd a massive boost i think we will see mario at some point as i feel he must be starting to realise this is his last chance at a decent top club. my prediction is a suprising result of 3-0, Markovich, Sturridge, lallana

We need a win and nothing less. The race for top 4 is going to really start now so we can't afford any more excuses for dropping points at home. Go at them from the first minute and make our intentions clear.

Any chance well see Danny for 10/15 minutes. Him back be as good if not better then any new signing

I agree and I don't know about you guys but I'm warming to the idea of just go with our strongest team in every game.  F**k rotating for the sake of it, we're at the nitty, gritty end of the season where every point counts and draws won't take us through the knockouts. 

We need to keep this group of players together as often as possible for as long as possible.  We need a backs to the wall mentality, where hero's will be made.  It's an end of an era season, they should be fighting for the right to be a part of the new era.

I feel they will and I'm looking forward to seeing the future of Liverpool Football Club.

This is a must win game. Lallana and Coutinho both starting will make me feel that goals will be scored. This is because at times Coutinho does things with skill, movement and intelligence so fast that players around him (in front of him) don't react accordingly - they are not the brightest so he has no one to work with since Sturridge is out and Suarez is gone. Lallana is a clever and skilful player so at least a partnership of sorts can be formed there.

Strange situation; not having a striker. That needs to be resolved this transfer window or no matter the amount we spent on the squad, I'll think the owners are not looking out for our best interests. They are leeching off the revenue the LFC brand makes.

I would love to see Balotelli start . Let him run around for 60 minutes and see what he can do .

Does anyone actually know the status of DS ? I haven't seen anything saying that he will be available / will be on the bench . I agree, that his return is like a new signing . He has been the missing piece to our team and I think him coming back into the squad with the form we've shown is great . Having him against Chelsea would've been huge . Could have been that spark and put us through .


I think it'll be a 2-1 game w/ a late go ahead goal .

What the heck is going on with Lovren?
Is he still that unfit that he can't get a game yet?!
He has to be introduced soon surely.
Still believe that the boss will eventually revert to 4 at the back and that Lovren and Sakho will be the preferred pairing.
Just hope for a win and to play with some pace and passion against a type of team that we should beat but often make heavy work out of

I couldn't agree more Debs. I more or less echoed these sentiments myself last week saying that due to recent results "if it ain't broke don't fix it". If fit, slotting Sturridge into the side won't break it - he's well-versed in the system(s) already.

Others though have convinced themselves that Sturridge and Balo ought to play together in order to get the best out of Balo. Nonsense. He's clearly proven that it's just not worth the risk.   

Is Danny Ings starting - that's all I want to know

If he is, we will tw*t them 5-0 with Ings scoring a hatrick. Who needs Daniel Sturridge.
