Actually wouldn't mind seeing the team that started against city again. The only risk of that is no out n out striker and we may not take our chances as clinically as a top form studge would. But we need him to press harder. A front 3 of lallana, sterling and coutinho presses so well so High. Something we have lost of late.

Potentially. Three points is imperative given we're away to the 2nd most on form team next weekend. Pretty positive about the game but could be very much season defining, as you have said.

As for this lot and this game, I haven't changed my mind since I posted this.

I want these fuckers totally humiliated.  Leave them in no doubt about how sh*t they are and how far away they are from competing again. 

1-0 would do if we have 80% possession but personally I'd prefer them to win the possession stats yet lose by 5 or 6.

Grind them into the Anfield dirt lads, leave no prisoners, slay them all 

Just a win, that is the most important thing, anything else is a bonus.

Mega excited for this game tomorrow, up at half 6 for an early start, hatred doesn't even come close to the way I feel about these, so I hope we batter that scum from down the east lancs, we need to shove them outta that top 4 for good and we want revenge from the 3-0 they handed out to us earlier in the season.

I think back to all those games when under Sir Alco how he bullied the refs into siding with his charges, the Mascherano red card immediately springs to mind, anyhoo, if we can play at our optimum we will hammer them, they seem to think their battering of a under performing Spuds side means they are back, well they are in for a rude awakening today,
High tempo, high pressing will get the job done, they simply won't cope nor have the players to handle the constant pressure we will inflict on them,

I'm confident in our ability to beat these fuckers mate but my worry is Atkinson.  The way Officials have gone this season, they've ruined more games from their cockups than ever before and he's been one of the worst.  If he can control the game without producing unnecessary early cards (unless they're for their players) then we might have a chance.  Shocking really that I'm more worried about the ref than any of their players but that's how it is these days.

Anyway back to the game, they'll set up to defend first and foremost, they'll sit deep and try to bypass the midfield.  They're expecting us to come out all guns blazing so I'm hoping Brendan will do the complete opposite.  We're capable now of controlling a game, keep possession or let them have possession and invite them onto us, leaving space in behind.  They may have higher profile players but we have the better team.

3 points is all that matters today, how we achieve it is secondary.
