Last time I felt this confident was Chelsea at home last year and we all know how that finished, hopefully it goes the other way on Sunday.

I'd go with the team we put out v City a few weeks ago. Think Sterling's work rate suits us at Anfield in the big games so he's got to play ahead of Sturridge for me.

Would play both Sterling and Sturridge their defence can be split with pace quite easily as they are not the most mobile team.

Would start with Allen Henderson Sterling (in the 10 role) Coutinho Sturridge and Lallana.

Enough to give their back 4 nightmares.

      Anyone starting Gerrard?

One thing is for sure, Fellaini won't get sent off. He has elbowed and stamped on our lads the past couple years and still stayed on the pitch.

Watched them closely, they play as a unit, defence as a unit, attack as a unit. LVG is very smart, he knows very well their weakness is in their defence and I could see he has put many players in front of their defence. That's the very reason that fooker fellani has become an important part of LVG's tactics, he has put that big bully in front to their their defence to shield their defence and their defence is as fragile as a glass.

Put enough players inside utd's box and they will succumb. The battle is won or lost in midfield.

Fellaini has been an attacking midfielder for them lately, Blind and Carrick have been in front of the defence.

      Not for me Clive!

I think he's best as an impact sub rather than a starter, the game against Swansea showed that.

It'll be 90 minutes of hell for them shitehawks! The only downside will be for some fans behind the dugout where Van Gaal's head will block their view of the game. At least they won't have to witness that 'crushed weetabix' on Rooney's head.

Though a 1-0 win will suffice for us I would like to see us thrash the bas**rds. Just imagine Fergusons face if we put 4 or 5 in the United net, it would be a delight to see.

Very nervous for this one , although optimistic
They have been very lucky with most of their late results,
bet if they did not have deGea in a superb form they would be 7/8th in the table
just press them from the start and we will get chances , but have to be sharp finishing and I am sure we will get there

I think if we start with a good high tempo, press forward and chase them down in 2's/3's when they do get possession from the start we can beat these f**kers by a couple of goals at least.

      i'm going for 2-0

Always look forward to these matches the banter that will be going on in my house (married to a manc) will be extreme as usual :) I'm not saying what I think the score will be for fear of jinxing the team but i'm hoping to be the one who's smiling this time ;)

I want these fuckers totally humiliated.  Leave them in no doubt about how sh*t they are and how far away they are from competing again.

1-0 would do if we have 80% possession but personally I'd prefer them to win the possession stats yet lose by 5 or 6.

Grind them into the Anfield dirt lads, leave no prisoners, slay them all  >:D

Pretty much what we played at Swansea in the 2nd half mate. Can was efectivelly a right-back, CB´s split, Gerrard dropping in between. It allowed our front 5 pressing hard and winning balls early. Its easy to flip anyway with Can tucking in and Lallana moved to wing back. We´re a flexible side.

      Really?

More like Gerrard dropped into the Allen role allowing both Hendo and Allen to move further up and the wing backs pushed up but still a back 3.

We didn't alter from 3 at the back..

The midfield and forwards changed but we certainly stayed as a back three

That's exactly what we did. Back 3 remained. Lallana moved to left WB. Joe and Hendo pushed up a bit. Gerrard sat in front of the back 3.
