Think you are in a minority - it does look like a definite stamp.

We played much much better with 10 players, does that tells us that we have no fight, no motivation, no guts in our players or the manager? I don't know who is more at fault. This is one very very crucial game we have to win and we fumbled big time.

Considering how sh*t out future captain was, I wouldn't be so sure.

Surely better than the current captain.

F**k it, some of the lads looked like they had no clue what was going on. Not the best tactical aproach to the game either.

well shocking start, Moreno no positional awareness, Stevie why oh why, I'm not commenting on the REF cos I'll
only wind myself up and self combust !
I thought we did ok with 10 men but then that's how sh*te manure are and I still can't believe we played so poor
      that first half hour
out of our hands now so I wish manure all the anti-luck in the world god they deserve it

United bossed us for the first 30 minutes. More physical, crisper passing, much better pressing. Deserved to take the lead. Zero awareness from Moreno.

We didn't pick it up until the 30th minute or so, then halftime struck. Gerrard's stupidity killed us -- that was a sending off every day of the week and twice on Sunday. Then another good finish from Mata and it's 0-2. (To be fair, both of those finishes were excellent.)

We gave a good account of ourselves from that point on, but when you're down 2 and down a man, that's a bit much to ask to grab a point.

Maybe it's different if Jones gets sent off -- he should have had about 3 or 4 yellow cards -- but no matter what, there is no excuse for those opening minutes. We were flat and dull and looked too cautious.

I think it was more down to the tweak in tactics, basically Rodgers got done by LvG in the first half.

I'll eat my own words if the FA doesn't think it is, but that's looks like a stamp

      Unavoidable contact.
It's not as if bollocks was lying there and Martin picked his spot, it was 50/50 - sh*t happens.
He sure was doing some Oscar nomination stuff it's got to be said, same as the rest of the F***ing cheats.

fking ref was their 12th player.  how jones finished the game is beyond me... fkin tw*t

of course we had some players tat were absolute gobs***e today.

moreno.. was so poor. at fault for both goals.. easy giveaways.. bad passing

      stevie... wtf

allen... ok game but he gives away the ball so easily

hendo... ok game but as cpt he needs to do more to inspire

mario .. he really needs to move around more

sturridge ... good goal needed more support

sterling.. i thought he had a decent game... he was pressured and marked the whole time but did things

      cou... couldve been better.

emre... he was exhausted by the 70th minute.  you can see by the why he tracked back and how he gave thebpk away

      skrtel... decent game.

      sakho..same as skrtel

lallana... got hurt .. tried his best but still failed to make a difference

migs.. my motm... only because he saved shrek's pk.

today is a woeful game... a game that could cost us 60 million in the future

Mmmmmm I'm not so sure that was avoidable from Martin to be honest. Can see it going either way, but would not be surprised nor disappointed if he gets a ban. Only saw it 2-3 times though.

No way was that a stamp, his momentum carried him forward. If the FA are to look at that, then they need to look at the Refs performance!

Credit to Stevie there, he fronted up, accepted responsibility and apologised to his team mates, the manager and the fans for costing us the game.
I don't think we need to crucify him for it, he'll do that himself!

Won't argue with that, that clearly shows BR never prepared properly for this game, I mean tactically, or should I say tactically naive, as far as it goes by saying, "my tactics worked the last few games and I'm gonna continue with that and I don't care how the opposition tactics is". How tactically naive is BR, that's where he lost out to the maureens and now LVGs of this world. Their game plan worked for them against Spurs, and everyone knows they're gonna use the same game plan to stuff us, and yet BR did nothing to counter that and put on a fragile Allen trying to counter fellatio. The manager to be blamed for the wrong tactics while the players for a total lack of effort in the first half and Stevie, less said is better.

Not sure it was a stamp by Martin either, but he'll still probably get a ban. Not watching the analysis as I can't bear to but I'm astonished that more wasn't made of Jones' fouls (then again Gary F***ing Neville gets the co-commentary job on a United game for the 50th time in a row!). The first one on Lallana was absolutely ridiculous, he's late and he's definitely gone in with 'excessive force', could have done some serious damage. Exactly the same can be said of the second one on Henderson. I'm convinced that if he went we would have at least got a point.

Coutinho and Sakho our only decent outfield players today, Skrtel did well up until he turned into Diego Costa.

Midfield were shocking bith Hendo and Allen until we went down to 10 men were completely outplayed.

      Lallana less said the better

Sterling your having a laugh my son your not even playing at £10k a week standard.

Gerrard well he has been a legend so not going to slate him on his last United Derby.

Rodgers needs to take some flack for not reacting early enough to the way we were performing in the first half.

Knock it off, it was a stamp any day of the week. He's even admitted it on TV and apologised to the club and supporters for it. Let's not make any excuses, United where just plain better than us today. Too many players failed to show up, especially in the first half and for once, Brendan had no answer to our opponents tactics. Does this mean we're out of the race? Absolutely not, United have a much harder run in than us but we have handed the imitative back to them. But let's not make excuses for it. One shot on target is not good enough from Liverpool playing at home.
