Martin Skrtel - 3 match ban!

Very silly from Martin Skrtel and for me, without doubt, it's a deserved ban. He's deliberately caught DDG and I'd be absolutely fuming if that was Smalling on Mignolet for example.

To be fair I think both Jones tackles were a lot worse and should have been looked into.

Also the ref was soo F***ing biased towards the mancs he should also be getting reviewed.

He got so much wrong it was unbelievable.

I think Di Maria should have been carded for the handball, Jones should have gone and Smalling got away with murder.

In a match of this magnitude errors like this are totally unacceptable.

Same with Jones, he was out to hurt people yesterday, there's as much malice and intent in the challenge on Lallana as there was with Skrtel's stamp. The fact Jones made it through the entire game was a disgrace.

With regards Skrtel's ban in isolation I can understand it, when put in the context of what they got away with it's the usual biased sh*t.

Yeah he got away with one didn't he. Problem is they clamping right down on stamping and it was clear what Skrtel did there the. Moment you watched the replay. He will be missed, of that there is no doubt. Hopefully Toure will get the nod to replace him.

Couple reasons Vicks86, Im note sure back 3 would work without a proper sweeper Skrtel as we have seen when was taken off against Blackburn.
Also we look dodgier with this wing-back thing with every passing game, I´d just ditch it for now.

Going to be painful vs Arsenal Im afraid - Moreno out of form, Skrtel suspended, Lovren injured, Flano only back from serious injury, Johnson and Touré not playing for a while, Enrique lost in virtual world. Hopefully Lucas is close, our defense is going to need a bit of protection me thinks.

Mate you are very niaive if you think that stamp wasn't intentional. It was borne out of pure frustration on Skrtels part but it was still intentional.

I agree completely that the FA have proven once again there is no consistency in their rulings as there is no difference between the Costa stamp on Martin and when Skrtel did on Sunday.
