It's kinda hard to shoot inside the box though when Sturridge's first touch is shocking and they're camped out in their own 18 yard box.

tbf sturridge has been worse with the ball.

The pitch isn't helping any of our players, nobody seems to be able to control the ball or take a clean shot at goal.

Saw last 20 mins. All us. Bburn have the bus parked. We have majority of possession just can't break em down.

The one thing I wanted, apart from a win obviously, was a good performance. I just hope it gets better in the 2nd half.

Would love to see us play Coutinho more of a #10 and then give Sturridge more support from an actual striker with Sterling dropping to the Allen role.

Think we've been a bit surprised by how negative Blackburn have been. Don't think we were expecting them to play for penalties right from kick off but to be fair the onus is on us to break them down and we've been F***ing woeful at it so far.

Our movement has been sh*te and we're playing far too slow. Yes the pitch is shocking but there is absolutely no way we will break them down if we continue to play this way - we don't have the technical players for this slow style.

Why doesn't Rodgers play two up front? Sturridge and Lambert with Sterling behind them.

We played great against Spurs (it seems years ago now) with Sturridge and Balotelli up front.

We are looking cr@p to be honest against Division 1 side.

third time im saying that cou cant play on the right flank. he has never had a good game on the right flank his whole time with us. he is trying to pass the ball with outside of his right foot from the right flank.

put him on left or middle then he will be more comfortable taking a shot or pass with inside of his right foot.

Johnson is playing right wing, Moreno is neither effective going forward or defending - give johnson credit at least he does one thing well.

would like to see borini given some time today maybe his running around and pressing the defenders can force a mistake from them. two changes left, has to be the right ones by the boss.
