Im not saying your wrong, because I don't know much about him. But lets be realistic we won't be signing any more strikers at the minute, FSG will want to balance the books and thats a well know fact.

If he fits a particular profile that we have not yet been able to sign then I think we will go for him. We struggled last season for goals if this lad can score goals then who knows. We haven't seen a huge exodus so far from Anfield though and the cull has to start soon.

In a very ideal world, we would sign Lacazette and send Origi on loan to a club like Swansea!

But that world is parallel to where we are..

I don't think we'll go for Lacazette purely because of the amount of strikers we've got already. Would love it if we did though.

I know it would seem like overkill to buy another striker at this point, but considering Sturridge is made of Charmin and can't be relied upon from here on out it seems...I would love for this to happen. Not gonna get my hopes up though. Can't wait till Sunday! YNWA

I've just read an article on a French paper translated by Google so a bit broken but it said that he's been offered a contract extension with a rise to 4.2m euro a year but he wants more and with their league starting it'll be resolved before it does.

I just can't see this happening, mostly because of the financials tbh.

Benteke, Sturridge, Ings, Origi, Coutinho, Firmino, Hendo, Milner and partly Lallana are the reason why I doubt we will go for him. Origi and Ings know they won't be regulars week in week out but the others all will be, add Lacazette into the mix and I just can't see it happening at all. I can't see Rodgers being able to manage a situation like that if I am honest.

I honestly think the only way Rodgers integrates a player like Lacazette is if Sturridge is set to be offloaded at some point.
