1. Just look at the totally unromantic skyline.

Well done RP, can you alter the heading on one of the pictures." Apparently 2 big football teams," we all know there is only 1 big football team in the magnificent city of Liverpool.

Wasnt expecting the City to be as wonderful as it was when I got there.

Absolutely loved the City and I must admit there was some amazing looking women when I got there, could have stayed in town all day and all night....very easy on the eyes.

Its' my 3rd favourite City after Amsterdam and Melbourne.

Yeah that's deffo the Phil (pub not hall, which surprisingly hasn't got a mention) not sure on the palm tree one though, clearly not one of my regular watering holes.

Never had the pleasure of Melbourne but I have heard it is absolutely one of the finest cities in the world. Liverpool has the extremes for me, at it's best it is truly one of the finest places to be but it also has some of the worst. Would be nice if the government actually did something to drag the worse areas up, but of course there's no advantages for them to do that, it'd only help the most disadvantaged, the demographic least likely to vote.

I think all cities are a bit the way you described bud. You have your good areas and your dodgy areas, the dodgy ones are dodgy because there are scumbags in every city running the place down.

I loved every  minute of Liverpool having spent a weekend there in 2013.

The city has an alluring buzz about it the Albert Dock and the many restaurants and bars were a fantastic experience. Took the missus for dinner to the Steakhouse place in the dock after the match on a Saturday night and the bars and clubs after it was sensational.
I left the city with a heavy heart and vowed to return again.

Same everywhere Luke. Take it from me, I've been to every major city in this country and I wouldn't put any above ours. I love some parts of London but there is no togetherness anywhere there. Birmingham is probably my second favourite but nowhere I have seen beats Liverpool and there is nowhere I have seen that would make me up sticks and leave the Wirral.

Know what I haven't seen half of Camden I don't think. There is a Spoons right by the water there that I like to sit outside for the erm, views.

Will be heading back there over the Summer so I'll have to do my research so I can explore it a bit more.
