One perfect night in Istanbul

Couldnt find a thread on this but its Ten Years on monday and I will be getting the DVD out and have a few drinks to remember that wonderful wonderful night which the memory of I will take to my grave.
I had a big family get together and the memory of us all singing YNWA is pretty powerful stuff.With all the difficulties surrounding the club now how good is it to have memories such as that.
I simply can't believe its ten years ago.

My wife has bought us a pair of tickets for Wednesday night in Liverpool I and was wondering if anyone else from the forum was going?

That was when we had players who would not lie down and believed in fighting to the very last whistle. Oh for some of those lads(or their like) today. The manager then also knew his way around Europe.

I have watched Dudek's late save so many times on slow mo and I still think it must be the greatest and most important save any goalkeeper has ever made for this club.

All that era seems like a bit of a dream now.As apposed to the nightmares we currently have to deal with

you have to take the rough with the smooth, but we appear to have been on a footballing rollercoaster for far too long !

Truly great night for the club and fans, for such a great comeback with a "real" Liverpool performance. It just seem such a shame we are living on these past memories.

Down the pub  early you all know the score usual sh*t off the mancs you gonna get stuffed ay ay first half  dont know how it flows with you guys but as I walked out I said to him its only  3 nill tounge in cheek the rest as they say is history ,
Got a phone call half time from my mate im standing by tbe bar  my mate says who's that  put it on loudspeaker its my bud singing in the aturturk  you never walk alone  its ringing out  its what dreams and this club are built on .

Then the Americans came in & ruined us.

Such an amazing night of emotions & football.

A fantastic night and a fantastic few months following really. 

Certain memories you can recall them and they  make you smile its a wonderful gift to have. Seeing a crippled Jamie Carragher sprinting down the pitch leaping in the air with pure joy is one of them for me.Alonso's penalty he couldnt just put it in he had to completely destroy us and within half a second bring us back to total euphoria.

Still easily the best night of my life.
