      The problem here, is simple:

      Blatter is vindictive.

If UEFA does not attend the FIFA World Cup, remember that, the FIFA World Cup, then all of the UEFA members and their teams will become disfranchised from FIFA, the WORLD governing body, and their football family.

So all the players from non-UEFA members, Messi etal, would either play for their UEFA member teams, and have to give up their National Teams, or go and play for a non-UEFA team.

Quite simple. Put up or Shut up, there is no middle ground.

FIFA needs UEFA more than UEFA needs FIFA.

It's not the sponsors that matter. If UEFA pulls out, they will have nothing to sponsor.

Do you think if they all pulled en masse it wouldnt make a difference , of course it would plus it would have a quicker impact the world cup is not for another three years lots could go on before that pulling the plug on the money would happen quicker.

I agree with you Andy, there is a hell of a lot of money/sponsorship involved. Take that money away and FIFA will really be in the sh*te.

As said on the BBC, if this lot of sponsors pulled out, there are a lot of companies ready to replace then.

Remember Etihad Airlines don't even make a profit, and they sponsor a lot.

The global for and against Blagger indicator is very indicative, the shaded continents, with some minor national exceptions are epicentres of corruption in government and every aspect of life.
Little wonder the sh*t has finally impacted the fan.

The Spineless dogs at the FA should pull England out of the world Cup (They are never going to win it anyway) It may just trigger a sownball effect cuasing clubs like Holland,France Spain and Germany to do the same

There were 73 who didn't vote for Blatter though, Argentina didn't and the rest of South America might not have either. But Argentina were the only ones to publically come out with it, while also saying there was an agreement between all South American countries to do the same, but that's only 10 votes still. France and Spain apparently voted for Blatter, which makes UEFA not that united either.

Yes, Africa the most corrupt continent on the Planet are solidly
behind Blatter, as are Russia and many of the Middle Eastern Countries. He certainly knows how to grease palms to keep his grubby little hands on the power!
Time for the Countries who oppose him to get together and tell him it's over and they'll never take part in another World Cup while he's at the helm.
The World Cup is now tarnished, and will be as long as that man is at the helm!
I for one will not watch it, if he's in charge, it is not an even playing field!

Europe I would imagine is where most of the money comes from and where most of the Sponsors markets are along with North America and Australia etc. Its time for the tail to stop wagging the Dog.

The money markets are changing Walton, the powerhouses are the Far East,Middle east where sponsors are looking to exploit the markets.

Something our club does too, when we embark on the Far East tours.

Thas BS, South America as a whole (bar Brazil whos representative fled Switzerland) voted for Ali. Thart was publicly stated by the Conmebol prior to the vote.

Did you notice that every single one of the nations that won the WC voted against Blatter? Democracy in football is not working. Some countries with absolutely no history or understanding of the sport vote and their ballot is worth the same as countries with over 100 years of tradition.
Those countries are easy to swing one way or another.

The vote for the presidency of Fifa, football's world governing body, has gone into a second round after neither candidate won two-thirds of the vote.
The incumbent Sepp Blatter won 133 votes to 73 for Prince Ali bin al-Hussein of Jordan.

The second round requires a simple majority of the 209 federations.

So what is the F***ing point? Corrupt fuckers.

I don't think this will do anything by the way. Not yet at least. Not until Blatter is overthrown/dead and that won't be anytime soon. This election is set up for him to win and find other ways to be a deceitful little shitbag.

This election not being postponed was the biggest hint that Blatter was going to win. It was never, ever in doubt.
