Hope Blatter rots behind bars sooner rather than later. Corrupt scum who doesn't have a care in the world about the game.

Since May we knew this was heading Blatter's way and rightfully so, the slimy, corrupt b***ard.

As for Platini - for someone who made his name as a great player this confirms his demolished status and is beyond humiliating for him.

Surprise surprise, Blatter has admitted that the decision for Russia to host the next World Cup was already agreed before the vote was conducted. All the denial by himself that he is corrupt yet he admits that.

The best punishment for Blatter is complete anonymity.  Blatter loves the rock star, celebrity life he has. He believes he's untouchable and the best way to get people who are "untouchable" is to not just touch them, but to hit them in the face. First is to be arrested, then a nice trial showing the world all his dirty dealings and bribes. Then a nice prison sentence and seizure of assests. Take his houses and cars and all the awards and status. Then ignore the f**ker. Ban him from holding any position in sports and politics. Ban him from all leagues and Intl events. Turn Blatter into a social leper. Then he will just die and fade away. His name and life will be a cautionary tale of greed and corruption.

Then they can go after the IOC. The IOC is literally "Olympic Class" corruption.

Blatter et al were allowed to screw football unimpeded for decades because corruption is an intrinsic, accepted item of the game at the very highest level within Europe.
Wonder if any arses are gone in the upper tiers of the FA?

For them to have any credibility the votes for the next two world cups should be quashed and a re vote taken . They surely have no other choice .

Blatter and Platini have been banned for 8 years from all football-related activities following an ethics investigation.
The ban comes into effect immediately.
At 79 Blatter's long career as football administrator is over.

That's barely touching the surface, mate. There have been five criminal convictions in the US involving corrupt FIFA officials and sports marketing execs this year alone (resulting in tens of millions of dollars being confiscated), and investigations have been opened in I think four or five other countries involving more than a dozen others, including in Switzerland, where Blatter is facing his own criminal investigation. After years -- perhaps decades -- of getting away with bribery and racketeering, and fleecing the game of tens of millions of dollars, the law is finally beginning to catch up with Blatter and his gang of cronies. Long may he and that rotten organisation be held up as an example of what can happen when you leave men in suits, in charge of millions of dollars, to their own devices.

Gianni Infantino is the new FIFA President after beating Sheikh Salman bin Ebrahim al Khalifa from that fine footballing culture of Bahrain by 115 votes to 88.

So I make that at least 88 votes that need to be investigated.
