Hyypia as a coach would be sentimentally great personally, and I reckon he'd do a good job. Would he want a first team coach role though?

I like the Pako shout. Did a brilliant job here under Rafa and has only enhanced his credentials with his treble winning stint as manager of Maccabi Tel Aviv. Would he want to return under Rodgers?

I remember everybody raving about him when he was here and how he was a ready made replacement for any of the first team staff. Is he knocking about anywhere, where we could give him a bell and say "we love you RB, check you everyday on LFC.TV"

A lot of people (understandably) want some of the old crew back. Pako, Sammy Lee, Tommo and Steve Clarke are all great shouts I wouldn't moan about.

But, if I had the choice, I would want a fresh approach.

Carra as defensive coach - would work wonders for the team and I don't agree that he couldn't work with BR, Sammy Lee has an equally firey character but was a perfect counter-balance to Rafa's methodical and arrogant approach (arrogant in a good way).

Fowler as striking coach - clearly our strikers need some lessons in finishing (apart from Studge that is)

Hyppia as assistant manager - has had relative success at Leverkusen, absolutely no success at Brighton, but has some management experience, is mentally tough and would bring new discipline to the team.

Plus, I hope Hyppia and Carra are both future managers of this club so why not get them involved early.

Sami. He's interested. He'd take it in a heartbeat. Get him working on that defence...
