I think it was probably one of those where he typed it without really thinking it through mate.

Hope he plays and makes a hero of himself today.

He did an he did   Sadly his goal hasn't got the attention it deserved due to what happened later.

A lot would depend on who we were playing and how we were set up as a team. I haven't given up on Benteke just yet, but obviously we need to see him play with Sturridge for more than 45 mins before we can decide if there is any chance of a partnership.

I think Ings is probably going to be a more natural partner for Sturridge, but I think Benteke may prove to be the more prolific goalscorer. At least we now seem to have options!

Has a great touch and work ethic just needs a good run in the side but as we all know England will probably make  him come back with a knock. I think him Sturridge and Benteke will all get rotated with Benteke being used more in away games as loan striker and ings and sturridge as duo at home

Milner may get in ahead of Chiravella but don't be surprised to see him work his way into the side imo, really like the look of that lad, with Teixeira making the bench.

Glad to hear it. Hopefully it's nothing that will keep him out of our next game though, been one of our better players so far

I really really like the lad.

The level of commitment and hunger for goals made it for me. The only player who ran himself into the ground in the last few weeks, deserves a starting place and it's a mystery how he didn't make even the bench in the first games of the season.

Also he seems to have a very good all-around attitude which will help him improve in the future, hopefully he keeps his feet on the ground and continues to work hard for us. An example for all the lads.

How can something that has happened during his Liverpool career in any way mean that Burnley should get more money. I don't see us paying Chelsea more money for Sturridge now it's clear that he's worth more? Inter haven't said 'Oh actually Coutinho is worth way more than 9 million now he's playing well for you'.

Danny stopped being a Burnley player on June 8th and any events in his career that occur after June 8th are completely irrelevant to that players transfer fee.

F***ing hell, another player I thought would absolutely thrive under Klopp. Gutted for the lad and us, thought he had a big part to play in the rest of our season.

i was gutted about Gomez but this is tough to deal with! he has shown so much in sucha small amount of time...

Whilst I agree that we shouldn't have to pay more for Ings now that's played for England, it's a completely different situation to Coutinho and Sturridge.
