Stevie G. Appreciation Thread.

The end of the season was a mixture of poor results, under achievement and the end of an era. But for me, it really only sunk in this past week that Stevie wont be here next season and its hit me hard.
With LFC 28 years of his life... 710 appearances 186 goals. 12 years captain.
What a true legend.

Was tough seeing Carragher leave (retire).

This is on a whole other level.

He is probably the last player of his caliber to play the game. It was hard to watch the last game and know it will be the last time he wears the Liverpool top.

The only glimmer for me is that I can see him play in the States.

Steven Gerrard has proved what our academy can produce from players that have grown up in Liverpool and also what a person can dedicate his life to, to be the best.
I have to be totally honest here, I don't worship any man and I'd rather the decline happen away from our club with great monetary rewards I'm sure.
