Pre-season 2015-16

wld rather lose all pre season and win 1st league game.

Just seen the players at copa & u21s, might miss the asia tour.

Not 100% but is there an LFC Press conf. today ?

Last year's pre-season saw us play both Manchester clubs, Roma, Milan, Olympiakos and Dortmund (managed by Klopp who got tore apart by Brendan but that's another debate). And we finished 6th.

The year before we played Olympiakos, Celtic and more less a bunch of nobodies. We finished 2nd.

Borussia team: Langerak; Piszczek, Sokratis, Ginter, Schmelzer; Kehl, Kirch, Mkhitaryan, Aubameyang, Jojic; Ramos

But hey, don't let this get in your way of praying to God Brendan.

I dont think we can afford to let coutinho and firmino have extended breaks even though they played copa america, as we need to get the squad together prior to flying off around the world as i hope both of them are going on the tour.
BR has alot of announcements to make before we start training like the captain and vice and his new backroom team.
he also has to meet the new players have their chats etc so come monday we need all our players in inclulding all the  new ones ready to crack on

I normally agree with your good self Ajay but on this I dont... i think they need a rest, both physically and mentally

suppose mate i can see both points i just think we have had big changes this summer and Br needs to address the team togher as a group maybe even if they go but dont play just to be part of the squad and intergrate the new boys maybe.

thanks mate, yer if I was BR i think i would want to get back ASAP and put right what went wrong last season have a sit down with my new back room prior to the full squad arriving and set out who are best 11 is and how we are going to approach this year. surley all the backroom staff will have to have a sit down with the board to be given their objectives and to be told plane and simple what happend last year when the team pretty much gave up after the UTD game cant happen again

Anyone any idea when the Tour squad will be announced?  We travel out at the weekend so there isn't much time left even though they'll (the players) probably know whose going.

I really can't remember mate.  It was a bit skewed last summer with the WC, a lot of players arrived late but I don't think we'd done the bulk of our transfers either like this summer.

Just off the top of my head, Balo won't be going due to his Fathers death although he may join up later, if Raheem's being sold he won't either.  I can't see the point in taking Borini and/or possibly Enrique if they're on the out list and Cou and Firmino will arrive late, if at all.  We've then got Flanno and Studge out injured, so that's 7 1st team regulars.

Gutted you got to pay for LFCTV used to love watching the pre-season tour and i'm to tight to pay, time to get my box chipped haha.

I got it back on towards end of last season. few progs I like, pres box & thursday night show, and kop kids its good to watch with the kids.

It is extra £7 a month, but already pay fortune for sky, and I get BT sport cheap cos I have broadband.

All adds up though.

Fantastic news for these lads who've been included in the pre season tour.  Well done, you've all deserved it.

Fulton,Cleary, Chirivella, Maguire, Kent, Ojo, Wilson and Rossiter.

For those who don't know, Fulton is a keeper (a very good one too).  Cleary and Maguire are both defenders.  Chirivella and Rossiter are DM's.  Kent, Wilson and Ojo, all attackers.

Anyone else got news of the seniors going, I've heard that Enrique isn't?
