mate, the media hate Liverpool and have for over 20 years, don't be looking for their validation or you'll end up hating your own team like half the forum......

Seems Roberto is Klopp's favorite player at the moment. It will be interesting to see how he utilizes him next season (as a #9, in the hole, or on the wing) and the knock on effect it has on his teammates. If he's our main #9, how does that affect Studge? If he plays in the hole, where does that put Coutinho?  Could he play as a #9 with Coutinho in the hole and supported by 2 new wide players?  Whatever it is, I get the feeling that Klopp intends to build his team around Bobby.

I think it'll likely be Sturridge/a new striker up front, Firmino just off the striker, Coutinho drifting in from out wide, and a new player on the right with Can + another in midfield. However, I think he'll want to have 8 or 9 options for the front 4 positions and I think he'll change things around depending on the opposition.

He has to play central and just off another striker. He's perfect for it and it's been his position for the past couple seasons.

If Sturridge stays fit and Coutinho gains some consistency, those three will build a special partnership.

Throw Gotze or another attacking player of similar quality in with those three and it could be devastating. Honestly think Sterling would have been a perfect fit with those 3.

What's the word on his injury? Could he maybe make the bench against Dortmund?

He's only been credited with one. He definitely didn't get an assist on the third goal (not that it matters).

What a performance from him. He absolutely tore them apart and it was one of his most complete performances. A joy to watch when he's in that type of form.

Absolutely F***ing immense tonight this lad, clearly needs a few games when he's been injured to get himself back on form, you could see it coming back quite clearly and I was hopeful of a top performance tonight but even I didn't expect that from him.

Well in Bobby and goes about his work so unassuming, so honest, so F***ing genuine he'd be a joy to play alongside, top stuff fella, well in!

Was very good tonight, particularly second half. Can't decide if he meant the pass to Sturridge (my feeling is marginally that he probably didn't) but he has creativity around the box which is vital in any team. He's had a good first season, some brilliant performances and some absolute stinkers. Clearly chock a block full of ability though, and if he kicks on next season and becomes more consistent, could turn out to be an excellent signing.

Was clearly a no look pass to Sturridge, pure class which occasionally does not come off, peeps need to remember Suarez used to miss place passes as often if not more if you look at the stats.

Was too. One of them that I'd have to watch back in slow-mo to see what he actually did. He has stuff like that in him, then bizarrely he'll receive a rolled pass and his first touch will bounce off him five paces (although it happens less these days). I was very critical of him in the first leg (justifiably IMHO as he was awful) but watching him tonight, it's obvious against teams which sit in that he s MUCH better with a proper striker to play off. He was very good tonight, now I hope we wrap him and Danny up in cotton wool until the final.

You might be right, but given his tendency to shirk contact on occasions having watched it a couple of times I had it down as a backed out of shot. Matters not a jot as he still gets the assist, if he did mean it it was some ball anyway.
