      Jun 24, 2015 12:26:43 pm
What's your expectations for this season, realistically?
      Top 4? Cup win? Title?
I'm hoping for top 4 and a Wembley trip

No expectations,  if I expected something to be, I'd see it as a bit of an assumption which would be a bit presumptuous.
I didn't word it like that to be snotty in any way, it's the best way I could think of putting it.

I believe we can win the league and other cup/s if the organisation of the team becomes more defined and less experimental.
everyone knowing their role and keeping tight as a unit.

Think we really need a Trophy, I'd go all out in the Europa League, after last years shambles in Europe its imperative we start making a name for ourselves in Europe again, win it and you get the bonus of champions league qualification.

      This season only:

I want to see progression, to see identity and character in our team, something we have missed all last season.

I want to see progression in Europa League because of the vast experience it would give to Rodgers and our players.

I want to see us finish in top 4.

Wise and preparing yourself for the bare minimum, any extra would be a bonus so you won't get too upset.

I expect us to do a sh*t load better than last season's feeble effort.

Starting with three points against Stoke.

      More goals.

      Some F***ing fight about us.

Most importantly - a much improved defence. I reckon that will be the make and break of whether Brendan will stay longer than one further season.

If the defence is still shoddy after four years of tweaking, with (in all likelyhood) a full back four and keeper of Brendan's signing (or approval if you prefer), it's hard to see him ever getting it right.

      Finally - some silverwear, please!

If i'm being honest: none. It's for the first time in many years that i have such low expectations for our team, mainly because the manager doesn't inspire me any confidence. If we had a breath of fresh air at the helm (Klopp for an example), i would have been excited for the new season, now i'm just hoping we'll manage to avoid humiliations like the game at Stoke. I'm hoping though for some useful transfers who can help us in the future, Firmino being an example of those.

Exciting football, to actually look forward to seeing our attacking displays again.

Top four will be hard and Firminho's signing doesn't change that as Arsenal now have Cech, Utd will have Depay & probably Ramos/Otimendi, i think theres more chance us hoping for City to slip up next season, but who knows.

Europa league or not we should be reaching the Semi Finals, we need to start performing in Europe again, in recent years its what this club has been about and i don't see why we can't do it.

I'll go with that as well. We must do much better up front and tighten up significantly at the back; and as and when we find ourselves in a good position in either the league or the cups, we need a damn sight more resolve than the team showed last season.

Go about it the right way and the results will follow.

The Mancs will be minus their 'get us out the sh*t 'keeper', Ramos or whoever is just one of the ten daily targets the manc press would have you believe are frantic to play for the also rans.
